Stitch Fix

Stitch Fix: Fix #2 – September 2015

Another year and I’m back with another update. Yes, I had to cut back on spending hence only letting myself enjoying some of these luxuries only once a year, lol. Anyway, still no photographer and had to do quick snaps and decide before sending the rest back. So let’s get started then.

Street Level’s Alder Zip Top Tote. Color: Brown. Price: $58.00. Status: SENT BACK. Um, it was a major struggle for me. The reason why I sent it back was mostly because I recently got this awesome handbag with all these compartments that fitted well for my organization habit so yeah.

It is indeed a nice tote for those looking for a fashionable tote for the fall. I managed to snap the inside for those wanting to get an idea of it. There are compartments for cell phones or other misc items.

Market & Spruce’s Elissa French Terry Striped Moto Jacket. Color: Light Grey. Price: $74.00. Status: SENT BACK. The moment I opened it up to take a look before trying it on, I had a strong urge of wanting to sing ‘Jailhouse Rock’. Serious! LOL! Even if the color wasn’t the same. I do like the style though, just didn’t like how it was striped and the color combinations wasn’t me. So yes, had to send it back.

RD Style’s Mellika Mixed Material Knit Top. Color: Burgundy. Price: $58.00. Status: KEPT. Yes, I couldn’t believe I got sucked in. The material was really nice and comfortable.

I also liked the color combinations. I thought the style was a bit strange at first, but I fell in love with it anyway after wearing it. (The picture above is the back view).

Daniel Rainn’s Waltie Lace Panel Blouse. Color: Black. Price: $68.00. Status: SENT BACK. Seriously, I thought I would like it. But after wearing it on and then standing around the mirror and twirling and doing other weird stuffs, I decided to send it back.

I will say it’s high on the comfort level. But the things that were bugging contained the shade (it was a bit darker for me, not lively enough) and then I felt like it made me looked fat(ter). Sounds super vain, but I didn’t want to keep it and then hide it somewhere. What was the point, right? So yeah. (Again, the above picture is the back view.)

Just Black’s Rogers Distressed Boyfriend Jean. Color: Blue. Price: $78.00. Status: KEPT. Okay, it’s official, Just Black is an evil line. They sure know how to make comfortable jeans. I swear I just bought 2 pairs of new jeans from GAP (a good deal too), but I couldn’t help letting this one slip by.

So, how was it this time? It was fun anticipating to the moment that I received the box. I enjoyed opening it up and finally seeing what was behind my stylist’s choices this time. Oh yeah, I have a different stylist this time, which was fine with me. Her name is Kathryn (Katy – as she signed it). Anyway, I requested for fall wardrobe. She obliged and the result was mixed, of course. Like last time, I like 3 of 5 items. I actually quite liked Katy’s choices. It was just that some didn’t look good on me (or the shades weren’t really me – as stated above). Not to mention, I forgot to check some items from my profile, which I went back and did right away after doing the review for Stitch Fix’s record. So yeah. I’m not losing faith in the service or anything. I will continue to use it in the future when I need it. I’m just glad they exist to save my hopeless fashion sense (like I mentioned in the other review).

Click here if you want to try it and help me get referral points in the process, lol.
