Weibo: Language Settings

Good news for English users! Finally you can navigate around with English in place. Well, if you’ve been using your mobile app, you could see there are English here and there for the menus. But now you could browse more easily for those still learning Chinese and/or struggling with it. But for this tutorial, I will show you how to change to different settings as well. Everyone ready?

Follow the red highlights and numbers. (Right-click on the image and select ‘View Image’ if you need to zoom in.)

After you click to expand (3), the image is like above. There are 4 choices for languages at this point:

中文(简体) = Simplified Chinese
中文(台灣) = Taiwanese Chinese
中文(香港) = Hong Kong Chinese
English

When you’re done with selecting the language that you want, click ‘Save’ and that should change after it processes.

For those who have forgotten from my past tutorials:
保存 = Save
关闭 = Close

The setting will also stay the same after you logged out so don’t worry. It’s like most of the settings you’ve changed in the past.

P.S. I just tested it out a bit, the English version is not in full yet but it’s pretty good so far.
