Top 10 Gift Options

Yes, I wanted to use this as a side random blab. And because I feel like it. This is, of course, according to my preference. So don’t jump in going ballistic about it just because I didn’t list some stuffs.

Love with Food – Need I say more? I love food.

Amazon – The world of temptation, lol.

Audible – It’s been addicting to listen more than read. And because I’ve been both busy and lazy (at different intervals).

Cold Stone – OMG, lifesavers, especially in the summer. Summer’s NOT my favorite season so seriously, it helps trying to wait it out. (AND no, I’m not one of those people complaining about winter when it’s around. I love winter ten times more than summer.)

Starbucks – ONLY because I want reward points, lol. But seriously, I especially love their Frappuccinos.

Stitch Fix – People say it’s too expensive, but like I said in my review, it all adds up and the wonderful stylists deserve all the credits. And the fact that I’m hopeless with fashion helps. It’s a lifesaver when I need to get a certain outfit for different occasions, especially professional attires.

Julep – Just because I’m a nail polish fan. And because they do have quite a few worthwhile products.

TGI Friday’s – The food might not be up to it for some people, but I thought the atmosphere is quite nice for a friendly gathering.

Barnes & Noble – I haven’t been to a bookstore in ages. It’s sad. But I think it’s because I’ve been getting my stuffs from Amazon and Audible mostly so I don’t feel too guilty for neglecting the bookstores. Also because since Borders shut down, it’s just too tragic to feel loyal to another bookstore. So yeah.

I was thinking of snapping some shots with my reward cards and all to place it in the post but decided against it in case they’re going to go after me for some legal rights of usage OR whatever else so didn’t put it in. And no, I’m not suggestion or implying anything with wanting gifts for the future hence the post. I just thought that gift cards/certificates are lifesavers nowadays, lol.

So, what are your favorite gift options?

Percy Jackson & the Olympians – The Lightning Thief

My friend KS introduced this series to me and I have been addicted to it since. I’ve been listening to it on Audible mostly, because I’ve been busy and often on the go so it helps me with staying on the adventure while moving around, lol. Back to the book itself, it’s more than awesome. I don’t know how to describe it exactly but it’s really fun to read. Or in my case, listen. I’ve always been interested in Greek mythology and found it out quite fascinating. So I found this story very creative and adventurous enough for me. Not to mention the humor that drove the plot along. The author really keep the suspense good and the surprise a nice touch at each turn. What adventures would be upon Percy Jackson in the next one? With the first book, we found out he’s Poseiden’s son. The world of the Greek gods and goddesses merging in with modern technology and much more. Camp Half Blood was a nice touch as well. I’ll definitely come back update more later.

Audible Collection

Yes, I have an Audible membership, and the fact that I’ve been lazy to read is sad, lol. Or more like it’s another so I could listen on the go versus having more time to read when I’m settled down somewhere.
