The story began with one of Taiwan’s scenic landscapes, Penghu. Li Jin Shui just managed to launch another ship so he had invited the townspeople over for a little celebration on this victory. While he was chatting up with the guests, his son, Li Yi Ming was seen passing out invitations. After the initial speech, Li Jin Shui soon joined the others offstage to chat about the upcoming happy event. However, he also complained of his oldest daughter’s lack of presence in their hometown. Fearing that the atmosphere would turn sour, Li Yi Ming rushed to reassure his father that his sister would return, considering how she had promised to help with the banquet. However, Li Jin Shui was on a roll, stating that it wasn’t that he wanted to nag his daughter but it was more about worry for his son-in-law, Fang Jia Qing.
At that moment, Li Mei Juan was seen on the road with her driver, Ah Hong. She was stuck in traffic and had to improvise by riding her horse to a meeting. At the location, two artists–Fang Hua and Su Zhi Hui–were seen arguing while they were shooting wedding photos. Not being able to win the argument, Su Zhi Hui soon turned and asked the others where Li Mei Juan was. Soon after Su Zhi Hui’s outburst, Li Mei Juan arrived on her horse, attracting the attention of the crowd present. Hearing Li Mei Juan’s explanation, the couple soon turned to one another and Su Zhi Hui apologized for his actions previously. Fang Hua also looked quite apologetic and accepted his vows to her. Their argument dissolved like that and Li Mei Juan arrived just in time to save the day (or a tragedy from happening).
Li Mei Juan indeed returned to Penghu like she promised and was greeted by her young sister, Li Mei Yuan. However, this time, Li Mei Juan returned with a heavy heart, both because she’d been informed by her husband that her father was quite upset and because of what her boss said to her regarding some business ventures. And the reason why Jia Qing couldn’t come to pick Mei Juan up was because of the disagreements between Li Jin Shui and Lin Xiu Chun. Lin Xiu Chun was actually Xu Yong Yi’s mother, which was Li Yi Ming’s future mother in law. Yes, this disagreement was indeed severe, considering how Li Jin Shui was against the land development project of recent since he vouched it was destroying the culture of Penghu while Lin Xiu Chun said that they needed to make changes for the future generations to thrive. According to Yong Yi, this meeting was to discuss their collaboration yet it had escalated to be a blood bath.
Upon arriving at the scene, Mei Juan was horrified by what was happening. Yet Mei Yuan seemed unfazed by it and even encouraged the others who traveled with them to come and help her father. What Mei Yuan didn’t realize was how Lin Xiu Chun would soon be part of their family. It was indeed getting quite ridiculous. Attempting to call for help, but it seemed hopeless, so Mei Juan had to rush forward to remind her father about the engagement between the two sides. That was when Li Jin Shui finally told the others to stop fighting. It was useless because the crowd was too chaotic. Jia Qing actually pushed Li Jun Shui aside in time before he was hit by one of the signs the protesters used to defend themselves from one another. Jia Juan rushed forward to cover for her husband yet was unfruitful. It wasn’t until the police arrived that all parties stopped what they were doing.
At the police station, like a typical person leaning toward the old, traditional route, Li Jin Shui didn’t care for the police officer’s lecture. Yet he turned to his oldest daughter, Mei Juan, to scold her extended absence at their hometown–and that she even caused him to be arrested. Mei Juan was scolding her younger sister, Mei Yuan, for how she had handled the situation earlier. Then the whole matter just escalated to the two elders not wanting to see their kids married. It was indeed a very sticky situation for Yi Ming and Yong Yi. The police officer finally interfered and told them not to argue anymore. Jia Qing, fearing things might escalate, jumped in and vouched for all parties. The officer calmed down and even reminded them that it was Yi Ming and Yong Yi’s special day and told them not to cause more troubles. He said that the next time it happens, it won’t be so lenient on them. Jia Qing was the one who tried to make peace among all parties, apologizing to Lin Xiu Chun and then insisting on everyone getting some rest before they continued with the engagement–if there was going to be one anymore. Lin Xiu Chun scolded the Li family before leaving with her daughter. Then the next problem pushed itself into existence, which was Li Jin Shui returning to his previous topic, which was scolding Mei Juan for causing troubles for him, saying that she was probably born to go against him. Even though Jia Qing tried to interfere to disperse the intensity between both parties, but Li Jin Shui didn’t hear of it. He insisted that Mei Juan learned from Jia Qing instead of roaming around alone in Taipei like that, warning her not to do anything that would wrong their family name.
Later at home, Mei Juan noticed their finances were all messed up. Jia Qing told her that her father had been lending people money left and right hence their money was drained, and that her father told them to pay back slowly, etc. Mei Juan told Jia Qing to tell her father to treat business and personal matters separate, and that he should try to stop her father. Jia Qing reminded her that her father couldn’t be reasoned with or he wouldn’t be Li Jin Shui. Jia Qing soon expressed how he wished she would return by his side too, not just her father worrying. Mei Juan finally told Jia Qing the good news of her returning to Penghu for a project. She, of course, didn’t tell Jia Qing of her boss’ decision to send her to Shanghai after the Penghu project. Yet Jia Qing was already happy about her being there. Jia Qing then told her that her father was just upset that she wasn’t there for the New Year celebration. Mei Juan told Jia Qing that her father wasn’t all that present during times either, remembering how he was missing on all those past holidays. Jia Qing jokingly commented that she and her father were indeed the same. Anyway, Jia Qing promised to help patch things between her and her father, and Mei Juan said that she would go help Yi Yong with the engagement banquet.
Upon arriving, Mei Juan had to reassure her brother and Yong Yi that her father wouldn’t sabotage the engagement. However, she soon realized she’d brought the wrong wedding dress. Yi Ming was in a panic since it would rile their father up even more. Mei Juan soon tried to improvise and said that she still had time to fix it so that their father wouldn’t know. She told Yong Yi to go fetch some supplies for her while Yi Ming went to fetch Mei Yuan to help with the fix. As Mei Juan rushed to sketch a blueprint, Yi Ming returned with Mei Yuan and Yong Yi with the needed supplies. The four of them rushed to work on the dress after Mei Juan briefed them of the plan. And while they were busy at work, Jia Qing rushed in and dragged Mei Juan away from the scene. She didn’t want to go yet he insisted. He was showing her how her father was practicing a speech for the banquet. Yet when he realized they were there, he mocked and criticized Mei Juan, not wanting her help when Jia Qing explained. Mei Juan told Jia Qing not to try anymore since it wasn’t like their relationship could be improved with just a few words from Jia Qing.
The day got even worse and worse–if that was possible because Li Jin Shui wanted to enter the room to see the new bride in the wedding dress. Stalking didn’t help so Yi Ming had to comply by opening the door. With Mei Yuan’s help in covering Yong Yi, they tried to wing it through by saying that the new bride was just shy. However, after some brief speech, he soon pushed Mei Yuan aside and discovered that the wedding dress wasn’t the one his wife used to wear. (Yes, that was why they were all covering it since he wanted his daughter-in-law to wear the one his wife wore.) Mei Juan confessed that it was her mistake. Yi Ming and Mei Yuan quickly spoke up to defend Mei Juan, saying that Mei Juan already tried her best and it was beautiful enough. Li Jin Shui, upset, scolded them once again, stating that their mother’s wish was to attend her kids’ wedding so that was the reason why he wanted the daughter-in-law to wear the dress, not just because it was beautiful. Mei Juan soon apologized for her mistake but was scolded by her father once again, repeating another phrase he previously scolded her with, which was that of saying she was a terrible daughter. Mei Juan spoke up again to clarify that she was apologizing to her mother, not to him. He wanted her to clarify her words. Mei Juan reminded him of how he kept staying at sea and leaving the house for her mother to tend, burying her mother’s talents and dreams. She even reminded him that he wasn’t around when her mother died. He asked her what the family would eat if he didn’t go out to sea and fish. She said that her mother had said that same thing yet she asked him if he’d ever considered that her mother also had her own dreams, not just existing to take care of the family. So since her mother died, Mei Juan had promised herself not to be like her mother, wanting to fulfill those dreams. He told her that she wasn’t able to take care of the wedding dress matter, how could she do anything else. He even added that she couldn’t compare to her mother. Then he said they could do whatever they want since no one cared to hear what he had to say anyway. When he left, Jia Qing tried to persuade him to stay but was unsuccessful. It wasn’t until Wen Tian Hao, Yong Yi’s cousin and also Mei Juan’s coworker, came that things were resolved. He brought the correct wedding dress to them, which earned a hug from Mei Juan. Then Mei Juan helped Yong Yi change to the correct wedding dress. While that was happening, Tian Hao congratulated Li Jin Shui. He had no idea there had been a disaster going on earlier. However, what was more troubling was the glare that Jia Qing gave him.
I know it wasn’t getting up there with the ratings while it aired or attempted to draw in viewers–or so some might think. But I enjoyed it a lot because of its lighthearted nature and how it reminded me of the university days. Many could relate to its experiences–though some might think it was overly exaggerated, I felt that I want to point out some things that made it great.
NOTE: The numbers are there to keep track of how many good points the drama has and NOT listed in events of significant (of one surpassing another or anything like that).
1 Refreshing collaboration among the cast. Aside from several parties who are in the same band or had some past collaboration, the overall cast was very fresh. They came together to make this drama work and it was really something. Sure, some had a hard time adjusting to their roles or others needing to change his or her image to suit the role but it gave off a very fresh feeling.
2 The Chen family. It was nice to see such a large amount of people in the same family. It was crazy at times but it was funny also, seeing different relationships that they developed throughout.
3 Everyone has his/her own story. It’s rare to pull off nowadays since most dramas only focus on the main leads and second leads. That’s it. Yet with this drama being a family one, it allows for a lot of possibilities, letting us see each character having his or her own story without the feeling of anyone hogging the camera too long. Even if they needed to focus on the main couple the most but it was spread out.
4 Each couple have a different story. This is sort of like the previous but not really since this is covering the romance department more. Each couple had their own beginning and other developments throughout, making it unique for each case and more addicting to watch.
5 The interval at which some of the major characters appear. I like the spread out of it all since it wouldn’t crowd the scenes OR make it draggy. If they let the others like Xiao Xue, Gong Hui Qi or Xue Zhi Qiang appear so early in the story, they would end up getting draggy and/or messed up plotline. The spread-out appearances made it a nice pace and NOT too overdone. They didn’t have to rush at the end to make everything work out–as much.
6 Jiro and Cyndi = Jindi. I don’t know. It seems like they don’t look compatible or could not make it work, but I feel there’s this cuteness about them that’s hard to resist. Their off-screen interaction was even more funny, considering they had more freedom than just following the script. Anyway, seeing them wearing matching outfits gets to me all the time while watching the drama. Some people might think that they are too dull or not lively enough BUT I thought it is considered normal, NOT creating the hype on purpose just to crank the excitement up. In fact, I thought there were many conflicts they had to face already, so making their characters even more exaggerated or jumpy would’ve been too much, not to mention clashing with the other characters in here.
7 Gabe Lan and Cynthia Wang as Cheng and Xiao Xue. Seriously, that was way too funny. For some weird, weird reason, I love watching their story more than some of the other ones. Since they were so into fighting each other off and attempting to sabotage each other at first. The developing of their relationship, later on, was funny as well, considering how they kept somewhat of a secret from the others. Somehow, I felt they were the most like husband and wife, especially the part in the hospital when Shi Lang was shot, they were working together as a team–and like how often seen in husband and wife. Not to mention the shirt he was wearing at that time. (I mentioned this in my episode review before.)
8 The Chen twins: Zhuan and He (Sphinx and Godfrey Gao). They cracked me up each time with their opposite personalities–though they were supposed to be twins. Zhuan was always so knowledgeable and very scholarly, patient (or what it seemed) while He was all actions, quite hot-headed but quite athletic–thus gaining numerous admirers. One of the funniest parts that I remembered about them was the part where all of the brothers were trying to put in their birthdates to see which one was Tao Hua’s #1 brother (aka the best brother) and they failed one by one. When it was Zhuan’s turn and it didn’t work, He ended up grabbing the keyboard to type his birthdate in. Zhuan immediately yelled at him for being an idiot. It sounded mean, BUT it made sense BECAUSE they were twins, OF COURSE, it didn’t work!
9 Jing Lun and Jia Ying as Yu Yi and Hui Qi. Although Hui Qi caused some of the problems in here, it was too hard to hate her after learning of her bond to Shi Lang since little. Maybe it had to do with her angelic image. Aside from that, I really liked seeing them together. They were just too cute, too compatible.
10 Godfrey Gao and He Mi as He and Xiao Mi. I didn’t really want to put them in since though they were fun to watch, I felt it was a tad on the side of cliche. YET I remembered the parts where they were together with the other couples and it was really fun to watch so I thought I might as well include them.
11 Ken Chu and Annie Chen. Didn’t put it ‘as their characters’ because the last part was a bit off that she suddenly decided to go with someone else BUT came back later. I know that was harsh of me, but it felt a tad too random–even for a comedy. They were just emphasizing some possibilities in life yet I didn’t like it as much. What I do like was seeing these two pair off. It was interesting.
12 The four ‘psycho’ Chen brothers. Honestly, I just love them though they were so evil. It wasn’t because of their looks or because they were so talented only. But it was because of what they would go through to protect their little sister–even if they went over the line. It looked so exaggerated at times, but I think others who have siblings would be able to sympathize with them. If you have one over-protective brother, multiply it by four and you get the result of them.
13 Honduras as Jiro’s father. Honestly, that was just too funny! I was glad they made him so laid-back and understanding. I was sick and tired of seeing the father-in-law criticizing the daughter-in-law for being ‘not good enough’ for his son. He was so supportive of Shi Lang and Tao Hua, even helping Tao Hua to pass the test with her cooking skills. The funniest part was he hypnotized himself to sleep! The bond between him and Shi Lang was really good also. I liked how the production team made them look like they were father and son for real (or at least I had that impression).
14 Great casting. At first, when I saw how they were at the press conference, I wasn’t sure how it was going to work. But after they were placed into their roles with the right image, it finally fell into place for me. I actually felt that each character was suitable for the roles given–regardless of what role they played in here.
15 Awesome filming technique. Personal opinion, of course. I really liked the idea of shooting using the black and white approach during flashbacks, story recounts or daydreaming ones. It brought some sense of the old-time comedic feelings back. There were other techniques too, but I have forgotten somewhat because of a gap between watching and doing this review. BUT I really liked the style overall.
ANOTHER NOTE: These were just my personal opinions and I just want to share with fellow fans out there. It was not mean to sell anything to others and DO NOT intend to force any beliefs on anyone either. PEACE!
WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. If you DO NOT want to be spoiled, please DO NOT read. You have been warned.
To continue with that mystery at the end of the previous episode, things were not going well at all. Obviously, especially if it was true regarding the matter OR if the swap was just between the two families or all the families that were victims of that one nurse’s cruel game.
After drawing some blood for some DNA testing (finally, since everyone had calmed down after the initial shock of the story that both fathers recounted), everyone went home to wait for the result. While Chen Ba Ba and Chen Ma Ma were arguing over the whole matter, the others were mulling it over themselves. And why was He so happy? That was no time to joke.
When things were getting hectic at the Chen household, it was not any better at the Shi household since they were as worried for Shi Lang’s being–and the possibilities of the outcome. What would the result bring to them all? Preparing Shi Lang for the situation might be the best? Or was it? But that was a great father and son hug–regardless of blood relations. For the first time, Shi Lang agreed to hug Shi Ba Ba. He looked so happy. Love Shi Ba Ba although he could be a bit strange at times.
While everyone was worried out of their wits, Yu Yi and Hui Qi seemed to be in their own world. Yes, they were equally worried about the results since it also affected Yu Yi but it wasn’t as bad for him regardless of the result. It was still funny that Yu Yi and Hui Qi were still able to laugh about the matter. Yu Yi honestly wanted Hui Qi to go look for Shi Lang? Yeah right! That was still funny with his mumbling rant. Aww…that was so cute! They must be the cutest couple in here! (Sorry Shi Lang and Tao Hua!)
So funny that Yu Yi was getting special treatment all of a sudden. Not to mention that the others were being really sneaky about it. Why did they need to make up an excuse for being there anyway? Oh…no wonder they had to sneak around.
And that was almost so touching with Zhuan declaring that Yu Yi would always be their brother. A little bonding between them. But did he have to put such a strong emphasis on the matter? Not that Yu Yi did not appreciate their effort in including him in the family, but did he have to hit Yu Yi on the head while doing that?
Another touching scene with Yu Yi and Chen Ma Ma.
I always thought that Qi was in control of the situation regardless of the matter but I guess I was wrong since he was super clueless on stuff too. Too bad. Can’t blame him, considering what was going on these past days at the Chen resident.
Ekk…Tao Hua ran away from home? Again? Of course, it had to do with Shi Lang. This time, things were even more serious but still. The Chen household was once again in turmoil since they were back at looking for Tao Hua. Sounds super familiar all right. Just as they finally decided to pursue the matter on foot, Cheng received a call from Xiao Xue. Huh? Shi Lang was also missing? So He was right?
Was Hui Qi exaggerating? Seriously, would Shi Lang and Tao Hua jump? She was getting infected with the Chen clan’s vivid imagination all right. Possibly the effects of sticking around Yu Yi too much. And Yu Yi still find the time to act lovey-dovey? All right.
Another touching moment before the results would be delivered to them all. It was hard to imagine the Chen clan without Yu Yi. They finally showed some appreciation for Yu Yi–even if they usually bully him. It was a routine, right? A part of their life. It wouldn’t be the same if there was no Yu Yi.
Before the result could come out or they could find Shi Lang and Tao Hua, another drama unrolled for them. Well, for Qi actually since Kai Li was breaking up with him. I sort of guessed what happened earlier (since Qi kept delaying the talk because of other matters) and seriously I don’t blame her but that was too sad for Qi. He was a family man. Everything revolved around his family. If only people would appreciate him for that.
So after 7 dragging days of waiting, they finally get to see the results. They could finally sigh out in relief since Yu Yi was their brother after all. So that meant Shi Lang was not their brother. That was relief all right. But not sure if he was Shi Ba Ba’s son. Although that did not matter since they’ve been living together for so long but it was good to know too. Qi and Cheng played a trick on them? How could they? So funny that the twins were attacking Cheng though.
Aww…poor Zhuan. Yet he was so cute. Trying to get sympathy from Chen Ma Ma. (But then he did not realize Qi just got dump so they were both single after all.) So funny how he even hugged Chen Ba Ba too. What was that? Even Yu Yi has a girlfriend and he doesn’t? Aww…now their parents made Cheng help him get one.
Aww…Xiao Du Juan so cute! And Shi Zhi Qiang? Honestly?
Yay, Yu Yi’s back to tell us about the happenings since they were last together under the same roof. So Qi and Kai Li reconciled? And I thought Qi was so unlucky that he ended up alone. At least that was a happy ending. So funny that Cheng and Xiao Xue were still fighting like once upon a time. And I thought Shi Ba Ba and Chen Ba Ba already worked out their disagreements. Still funny.
So after that heated debate between Shi Ba Ba and Chen Ba Ba, we were brought back to Yu Yi’s little narration! Wow! Yu Yi was busy all right!
Picture time! Finally! And Yu Yi was right, where in the world was Zhuan? Wasn’t Yu Yi the one who the others usually forget about?
Problem solved! And I almost thought that it was Zhuan’s kid but it was actually Yu Yi’s kid. That answered the question with Yu Yi saying that he had four (but we only saw three so far). How dared Yu Yi assume that Zhuan’s gay? LOL! He was just picky! Not to mention fate didn’t touch him yet! Well, it was late but better than never, right? It was a small world after all. But nice… (Funny that their mother was also asking about Zhuan’s preference. That was a cute exchange between Zhuan and the girl! Cute!) Phew! So they finally get to take the picture after much delay.
It ended with a rating of .69, which could not be helped since it has been lagging since its airing. However, must say that it was still one of the most enjoyable dramas regardless of how the majority of the public had judged it to be.
WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. If you DO NOT want to be spoiled, please DO NOT read. You have been warned.
Chen Ba Ba and Chen Ma Ma were quite sneaky themselves. The four crazy brothers must have gotten that from them. Can’t blame them for being anxious though since it was a very special occasion. Their son’s future depended on it.
Exactly, wasn’t the occasion for Xiao Du Juan’s celebration? So much for it. Lucky they dodged out of the situation right away. Phew! Nice, Qi and Cheng dodged out of the situation as well! They planned everything well. (Love Cheng’s bragging, lol. “What can I do?” Nice…)
Okay, that was a tad over. Possibly WAY over. How could that hurt Tao Hua so bad? I thought the guys’ yelling was louder than hers. But that was another excuse to leave the scene. Too exaggerated but still funny. The Chen clan was really united tonight to make it happen for Yu Yi.
Moving on to more important matters, especially the time when Yu Yi finally got to be the main guy–like he wanted all along. Aww…so Yu Yi made it. And more references to Charlie Chaplin! But too bad that everything did not turn out as expected. Of course, that would’ve been more realistic but still a shame. At least Hui Qi did not just jump in because of other factors (like recently losing Shi Lang or feeling sorry for Yu Yi). JL’s song came on again for the sake of the scene.
One could not be sad for long though since it was revealed that the rest of the Chen clan were inside the secret headquarter place to watch the scene unfold. Better than watching TV? Qi was always Qi after all. Couldn’t take failure lightly. What were they going to do anyway? They could not force things.
Though things did not turn out too good for Yu Yi, we get to see more of Shi Lang and Tao Hua. But then someone was sneaking around behind them! Who else but Xue Zhi Qiang. He was so funny acting like that though, thinking that they did not see him. Shi Lang had sharp eyes. Of course, Xue Zhi Qiang couldn’t pull that one on him. Was Tao Hua that clueless not to notice? Or was all her attention on Shi Lang that she couldn’t care less about her surroundings?
So Xue Zhi Qiang decided to quit it since he was exposed already. But what now? (Cyndi looks so small between those two guys!) Shi Lang looked so cute trying to listen to music while the other two were having a talk. Good for Tao Hua with wanting Shi Lang around at that time. It looked more like Shi Lang was pretending to listen to music but he eavesdropped in on them hence the smile. I swear it seemed like a satisfaction smile.
Xue Zhi Qiang sure was long-winded all right. It took him half a day to talk and he still wasn’t finished. Ekk… Was Shi Lang nodding off? No wait, Shi Lang was supposed to listen to music. (LOL) And Xue Zhi Qiang made a move again! Lucky Shi Lang was there to save Tao Hua! Phew! And finally, someone took the hint to leave. But he was creepy all right! Jumping back just like that.
Hahahaha, I knew it! Shi Lang got exposed! He reacted too fast to the other incident so of course, it was suspicious. How was he able to react so fast if he wasn’t listening? Still, a very cute scene!
Whoa! Just thought when things could not be any more unlucky for Yu Yi, it turned way down again. At least he got a chance to save the beauty, right? But these guys were way more serious than the other dude who they encountered last time. Yeah, why was Yu Yi smiling? They were supposed to be in danger.
Chen Ba Ba got to be kidding right? How could they do anything all tied up like that? He just had to assume away. Crazy all right! But then he figured it out. It wasn’t late after all or those two would be tied up for a very long time. At least he called the cops. Phew!
Chen Ba Ba really knew how to take advantage of the situation all right. He jumped right in to decide everything for them BUT was still funny. Yu Yi was sooo slow. But lucky Chen Ba Ba set him straight. The others were giving him looks though. Of course, why was Yu Yi so happy when Hui Qi just got robbed? And shame on Yu Yi for badmouthing Chen Ba Ba. To think that Chen Ba Ba went through all those work for him.
Aww…another family dinner. They sure looked like a family all right. Did Chen Ma Ma had to shoot them down like that? But then she turned around to give herself all the credit after seeing Qi on TV? LOL! Zhuan had to remind her about it.
Eh…Hui Qi was taking a keen interest on Yu Yi now? Or was it just plain curiosity? Why was she sneaking up on Yu Yi? Still, that was a start. They had a romantic picnic together. How nice! Was just kidding. Wishful thinking on Yu Yi’s part but still. Yu Yi was crazy though! Jumping into the water like that. Well, she was smiling because of his effort. Too bad he couldn’t see.
Eh…why were they always eating? Looks good though. Why was He getting friendly with Hui Qi? What happened to Xiao Mi? Or was he just being nice? What was Zhuan mumbling about again? More old man philosophy? (Nah, was just keeping the conversation going.) Oh…nice convo, but where was Yu Yi? LOL! They got yelled at again! Of course, they had to go find him and NOT sit around pondering like that. More power from Chen Ma Ma. Wouldn’t want to upset her.
Yu Yi’s luck needed to turn soon. Why did he get himself stuck in such situations again? Who was this old man? So weird. Well, at least Yu Yi managed. Hopefully so. What was with all those questions? 21 Questions time? Uh…I didn’t think those crazy maniacs love Yu Yi all that much while they were bullying him all those times. Wrong philosophy. Oh wow! So there was a purpose after all! He wasn’t just running into all these people out of randomness. Well, Yu Yi got to eat so it was not all for nothing. So funny, Yu Yi fell asleep with the guy’s speech.
On the other hand, the little ride on the water with the grandfather was more successful since there were interesting stories to share. Yu Yi almost blew it! Phew! Er…so it was really fate? Yu Yi wasn’t bluffing. No wonder Hui Qi was saying those words when she saw Yu Yi in the picture she captured. Grandpa didn’t realize how wrong he was in declaring that. Yu Yi and Hui Qi already met. In fact, that was why Yu Yi even went all out on searching for them. Aww…poor Grandpa. Great that Yu Yi let him have a hug though. Probably he needed that since he missed his grand-daughter too much. And Yu Yi got to stay! Yay! At least that made him happy. More with Yu Yi daydreaming. Honestly, Yu Yi needed to get a grip but that was so cute. I honestly don’t blame the others for giving him weird looks though. He was acting so weird to them.
Grandpa scared the world out of him! Of course, Grandpa already caught on! Yu Yi was acting super suspicious all right! And that was a touching little clip that Yu Yi captured of Grandpa’s speech to Hui Qi. And another hug between Yu Yi and Grandpa! At least Yu Yi initiated it this time around. It was a change that someone appreciated him for once.
While Yu Yi was enjoying himself at the Gong resident, the others were worried sick for him at home, including Hui Qi. If only they knew. But if the four brothers knew, what would they do? Beat Yu Yi up for making them worry?
Yu Yi finally came back! Aww…Hui Qi was starting to like Yu Yi. Good! But then bad for Yu Yi since he managed to stumble upon unfortunate incidents again. Then the four brothers were making everyone dizzy with their pacing. Qi yelling at Tao Hua? A first! (Not really since he was just really worried for Yu Yi.) But it wasn’t as bad as Chen Ma Ma attacking the brothers. And why were they still arguing about blood? Did Zhuan have to be so technical? Oh well… But poor the guys, got beaten up again. And they were punished again. At least this was for others’ benefit. Qi still had the voice to order his brothers around. That was probably the advantage of being the oldest.
And why were they having a party in Yu Yi’s room? That was supposed to be a place for him to rest peacefully. Still, they had to get back at Yu Yi for causing them to donate blood, right? Even if that was supposed to be for the good. And what? Yu Yi has amnesia? How repetitive could it get? Why was it always amnesia? But let’s see how it progress. But so much for it. He managed to get some revenge out of it anyway, driving the brothers nuts though they could not do anything back. But the others were back at it again with their vivid imagination and twisted minds.
Can’t believe they were using the same old technique! The pitiful look! But how could they tell Hui Qi to do such a thing? What if Yu Yi did not remember? Wouldn’t it have been all a joke? They’ve got to be kidding, right?
Ooooohhhh…yes! That was good all right! Of course, he had to pretend or the others would’ve killed him already. Clever move. So funny though that he could finally get out the goodies for her. Food and then some more. And then everything was resolved since Yu Yi miraculously recovered (thanks to Hui Qi’s story) and the Chen brothers were happy and more than grateful for her help. They seriously were clueless. But luckily they didn’t know or they would’ve torn Yu Yi apart.
What? So Chen Ba Ba and Shi Ba Ba knew each other? Wow! That was one big mess…then…ekkk! Don’t tell me! There was a switch? I blame the nurse for playing such a trick! How mean! Irresponsible too. If she wanted to play something like that, she should’ve to play tricks on her co-workers and not those poor babies. Gosh! She mixed them all up. That was such a sad closure for this episode. If those two were actually switched, that means Shi Lang is Tao Hua’s brother? Couldn’t be, right? That crazy nurse did switch it around like crazy so it might not be them. Have to wait for the last episode to see though.
It actually went up to .76 for this week but probably won’t save its rating much.
WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. If you DO NOT want to be spoiled, please DO NOT read. You have been warned.
What a way to start the episode off since Chen Ba Ba was seen with a snake! Ekk! Was he planning to use it on them if they did not get their acts together? At least Chen Ma Ma looked like she wanted to use it on their sons. Their frightened looks were back though. Honestly, it was just a clip. Did they still have to wear that expression? Even Yu Yi was finding it hard to swallow. So it was true after all according to the clip they just watched. So the crazy brothers were doing it for both theirs and Tao Hua’s sake.
That news had affected everyone around them, not just the Chen clan. Aww…nice scene between Tao Hua and Xiao Mi. It showed that she was not just hanging around Tao Hua because of her brother but because of their friendship too. But why was Hui Qi around? She was the only who was happy about the matter? Time to take advantage of the situation again. I guess she can’t just change within several days and be all nice, huh? It would be too hard to believe anyway. And they were similar after all since Yu Yi managed to snatch the opportunity to impress Hui Qi as well. (Though she wasn’t convinced.) Still funny.
So the trial was on for Tao Hua to prove that she was capable of doing all the tasks herself. Jia you! Cheng scolding at Tao Hua? A first! (But must say he was anxious too for a good result.) Zhuan’s sneaky behaviors again. Awww….how could he? He shot the balloons! But it was Shi Lang’s encouragement for Tao Hua! Okay, so it was sort of a distraction but still! That was mean! Not to mention I would’ve expected that more from He and not Zhuan. They were double trouble after all so it wasn’t surprising that they shared some similar traits. Moving on, Tao Hua was handling the little monsters better? Great…at least she was showing improvements in that area. Something to be happy about all right.
So Xue Zhi Qiang found his way back to civilization after all since he was running his mouth again during judo. Okay, so who was the one who wouldn’t be serious about training? Hello! And their coach caught on! Smart, Coach! Give it to him! I got happy too early. But we were able to see some of Shi Lang’s jealous acts. Poor the other dude for being thrown like that! He was so not prepared!
That little scene created some opportunity for Hui Qi since she was able to use that time to talk to Shi Lang. However, it was surprising that she was not trying to move in. Okay, she was sort of getting to that part from her expression but somehow, I think she was right. Shi Lang could be so clueless at times and not observant enough. Tao Hua would never accept or care for Zhi Qiang. Shi Lang needs to be more observant.
Eh…what was Shi Ba Ba up to this time around? That was so funny! Thank you, Shi Lang. We needed to hear the main point. Shi Ba Ba kept going around in circles. He was making them dizzy. Oh…so he was trying to help his future daughter-in-law with sharpening her culinary skills. If only he would get to the point faster. What a technique all right! Chanting the mantra would work? At least he was trying to help! Didn’t work though! Oh wow, a second technique! Uh…if only it was easy to understand. I guess it was hard being a genius. He had to come up with those techniques that ordinary people were not able to grasp so easily. Okay, so her imagination was massive yet it did not help any with the real thing. Back to the drawing board, Shi Ba Ba! Love him! He’s so funny! He hypnotized himself! (LOL!)
So it took Shi Lang to persuade her otherwise. I guess it would happen sooner or later since only Shi Lang had an effect on her that the others could not. She finally succeeded!
Things were not on a happy note at the Chen resident though since He was back at it again, wanting to seek for Tao Hua even through the others’ objections. It seemed like Qi, Cheng, and Zhuan were softening up. Even if they did not want to see the inevitable changes Tao Hua was going through, they still want to be good brothers in her heart instead of bestowing more grief upon her shoulders. It took Qi’s raising his voice to stop He, making him give in. (Qi sure was their Lao Da all right. He was able to use his older brother power at the right time, not just like other times when they were acting crazy.) But then He had to open his mouth and talked about the sad topic that they did not want to hear. Whoa! All the others reacted the same, even Yu Yi. (Another time when Yu Yi was not on the out.)
So Tao Hua was not afraid of knives anymore. But it did not mean she was able to cook well. Come on now, it was her first try so no one expected it to be some delicacy, right? Seeing Shi Lang’s expression after taste testing it was funny though. It was very brave of Tao Hua to turn down Shi Lang’s attempt to help though since she wanted to achieve everything on her own, showing her capabilities. On a random note, Shi Lang looked so cute falling asleep like that.
Gasp! How in the world did Shi Lang do it? How did he turn those little devils into little angels? It was a miracle after all!
Yay! They passed the first trial! And then they were scared out of their wits with Cheng’s criticism! But luckily he passed Tao Hua as well! Qi and Zhuan were breathing out. Phew indeed! Awww….Cheng looked so cute trying it on! (Probably trying to rub it in the others’ faces since he got the first one made by Tao Hua!) Seeing Zhuan’s moving lips and Qi’s annoyed expression, it was worth the taunting! Then the others took it into their hands to demand one as well! One each, no problem! Half a year? So much for it! Ooooohh…they were in line but behind Shi Lang? That outta hurt! Cheng was the lucky one after all. Love their annoyed look.
Okay, moving on…it was Tao Hua’s time to prove her culinary skills. Everyone was just looking in from the living room. They wouldn’t want to disturb the chefs at work, right? They were getting anxious since things were turning a bit haywire. Was Zhuan sensitive or was that a weird smell coming from the kitchen? Ekk! Oh, shoot! One chef down! Shi Lang cut himself! (And He thought Tao Hua did it, lol.) So they apologized for nothing? Back to the living room then. (Um…so they only cared if Tao Hua was responsible for it or not? Lucky someone had the mind to tell Yu Yi to tend to Shi Lang.)
So it looked good, but was it edible? It was up to Chef He to decide, right? The others did not even care to sample? Or were they making He their lab rat before they dug in? Okay, maybe they wanted to hear a ‘Pass’ from He before calling for a celebration. Qi, Cheng, and Zhuan’s expressions were so funny though while they were waiting for He to test it. It was like they were waiting for their death sentences or something.
That was hectic all right. Finally a word of approval from He! If he did not say it any sooner, Qi, Cheng, and Zhuan would’ve died from lack of air. They were holding their breaths for too long.
After that touching moment with He’s confession about matters, they were back at it again! Yu Yi was so sneaky! Qi’s sharp eyes caught him and Cheng attempted to stop him but he was faster! Awww…they were like one happy family eating together. Yay! Food fight! Okay, not really since they were just fighting to get more food not using food as weapons. That was funny though. Qi had to remind Zhuan about his declaration earlier with not eating. Why was Zhuan scooping so much food into his bowl? Uhuh, showing your support for your sister’s effort? Great, nice excuse. Like the others were convinced.
Eh…the results were out! Yay! She passed with flying colors! Yu Yi and his power of love rant again. Must admit he was a good tutor! Okay, so not so flying colors since she got a 74 on one of the subjects. It was easy to seek sympathy from her knitting skills but numbers can’t lie, right? How come only several points? Only six points, Shi Lang? Zhuan will flip!
Yu Yi was willing to cheat? The others would kill them if they found out. But they were desperate for a way out, right? If only they could live with their conscience. Desperate times called for desperate measures, but this? How long would it last? What if they were found out since Zhuan was not an idiot. Even Qi, Cheng, and He did not buy it since the results were WAY too unbelievable for the other ones already. Not to mention the only one that she got a 74 on. But then they were equally happy anyway since they did not have to worry anymore. Or did they?
Tao Hua’s conscience was nabbing her since she was melting down to Qi’s encouragements and the others’ unusual proud mode. How could she lie to them, right? Even if it was six points. So Zhuan knew but he did not say anything to expose them…yet. Time to shift their focus back on Yu Yi! (He ran too late! Should have ran when Tao Hua was confessing of her lie.) Lucky Tao Hua was there in time to rescue Yu Yi. Yet Zhuan was not bad either since he pointed out that they were just caring too much for Tao Hua. She was their precious sister after all. They would’ve done anything to help her.
So things weren’t that bad after all. Hopefully, their mother would be reasonable and understanding of the situation. The Chen clan was finally united at last, including Yu Yi! Why was Yu Yi making an excuse to run so fast though? No one was in any hurry to open the door. He did not have to be so anxious. Or was he afraid of the other brothers changing their minds and attacking him once again?
It was a surprise indeed! Look at He all innocent again! Trying to score points with Chen Ma Ma? And Cheng was not far behind either with trying to work his charms again. But then the question came! Why were they unusually quiet? What was so interesting about the ceiling, Cheng? Found something up there? Qi, what about being their fearless leader?
And uh…why was Xue Zhi Qiang around? Up to no good again, of course. But Chen Ba Ba spoke up in time since it created an excuse for them to leave the room and go help Chen Ba Ba with the luggage. They had a lot of luggage? All right…nice one, Shi Lang. That was so cute with him trying to dodge out of the sticky situation though. One of those times we get to see his playful side.
And I think that Zhi Qiang and Hui Qi should get together more than Yu Yi and Hui Qi since he was claiming to be Tao Hua’s fiancee and so was Hui Qi at one point (in regards to Shi Lang). Honestly. Bringing out that old photo for proof? The others could contradict him in two shakes. But then I must give Hui Qi some credit for backing down since she clarified herself before anything else took place. Maybe she was reconsidering matters. She did not want to get on Shi Lang’s bad side again. But then Zhi Qiang was able to hold his own show since he managed to shut Shi Lang up with his fierce attitude and his thick skin. (I have to clarify here that I love Calvin thus far with his performance but I’m just getting turned off with the character Xue Zhi Qiang more and more, that’s all.)
Gotta love Chen Ma Ma for shooting Xue Zhi Qiang down. Since Chen Ba Ba was all smiling and trying to be friendly and hear him out. But Chen Ma Ma was all business. Love Qi and Cheng’s satisfied expressions since Zhi Qiang was not all smile anymore. Then he changed tactic, going for the pitiful look. But that failed too since Chen Ma Ma was super smart after all. She had to care for her daughter’s feelings, NOT just some outsider’s words.
And for the first time, all the crazy Chen brothers were willing to carry out their mother’s task without any signs of silent reluctance. They were ready to kick Xue Zhi Qiang out all right. And Yu Yi even took the opportunity to snatch the picture back. He even received an approval pat on the back from his brothers. This was an improvement for their siblings’ bonding all right.
It was a true reunion indeed since they were gathered in the Chen backyard. Qi spoke too soon though. What ‘tian xia tai ping’? Just because Chen Ma Ma kicked Xue Zhi Qiang out did not mean that she let them off. Thanks again, Mr. Director for another reality check. Yes, I was wondering why in the world didn’t they alert their parents regarding the marriage since it was after all a big deal. But they got scolded for that one so it made sense.
Eh…Shi Lang sneakily watched Tao Hua at work? Wow! And Hui Qi almost looked harmless. Was she really reconsidering things? After all, Shi Lang looked so happy with Tao Hua. Maybe she should let go.
But we did not have time to see her in actions though since Yu Yi was at it again, wanting to go with their parents in Tao Hua’s place. LOL! Nice try, Yu Yi, but the answer was still NO… (Just look at Cheng and Zhuan’s expression!) Yu Yi was convincing with his attempt though. Too bad it didn’t work. He still could not escape from the four monsters’ grasp. So much for their little bonding moment before. Lucky Yu Yi diverted his answer in time or he would face consequences later when their parents were not around.
And Chen Ma Ma was always so fast! She caught on! She was eyeing Hui Qi so suspiciously that I think she might be up to something. Or was that just reading too much into just one expression? But she was sharp after all, she would know.
But first things first since they needed to take care of their precious daughter’s situation before indulging themselves into other ones. Yu Yi will have to wait again. And I was wondering about Shi Lang’s tasks so now Chen Ma Ma brought the subject matter into focus again! Yay! We get to see Shi Lang sweat while answering to Chen Ba Ba and Chen Ma Ma’s questions! At least the first question was easy, right? (Or not!) Chen Ba Ba and Chen Ma Ma were funny though. Cunning questions.
And that was so funny but not unpredictable since the brothers were eavesdropping from the door. They all fell in when Chen Ma Ma opened the door. Almost forgot, that did not include Yu Yi–once again. Come on now, they were spying, of course, they would never include Yu Yi. Need more space to eavesdrop.
But at least Yu Yi did not lose out either since Hui Qi seemed to be getting friendly. Was she seeing him from a different light? Still a cute moment between them. Hui Qi was returning to her angelic state.
Anyway, back to Tao Hua’s room, the others got to be a part of that little ‘trial’ as well since they made themselves comfortable around the room as Chen Ba Ba and Chen Ma Ma continued on with their talk. And that was funny how the parents were giving examples with Qi and Kai Li but he managed to divert it to Cheng right away! Why was he getting fidgety? But thanks to Zhuan for rubbing it in for Cheng and making him even more nervous with all attention on him now!
And what was the big news? Why was Chen Ba Ba acting so strange? Chen Ma Ma was not all words either. Were they letting their children (and Shi Lang) die from the suspense? Eh…they were getting a new sister soon? Wow! Were the other crazy four brothers going to make Yu Yi stay in college to protect her too? He would be WAY old before he graduates then! (JUST KIDDING…) Well, I guess this made up for Qi’s outburst earlier about a baby.
Uh…Cheng, that was a bit OVER. Scoring points with the baby already? So funny of Zhuan to bring out his statistical facts to knock Cheng’s tactic out again. Too bad He’s Bai He (百合 – lily) and Cheng’s Mei Gui (玫瑰 – rose) could not beat Zhuan’s Du Juan (杜鵑 – azalea). It was still funny that they were trying to make reference to Roseate Love. Sometimes there were benefits with being twins since Zhuan had He’s support. Those were all beautiful names though. And that was a mutual agreement among the Chen clan (excluding Yu Yi–poor Yu Yi) and Shi Lang.
But Yu Yi was not at lost or would not regret that opportunity too much since he was given one of the rare chances to be with Hui Qi. It was just them silently working away in the kitchen. Then Hui Qi finally realized how and why Tao Hua was so important to them all. (Yu Yi still managed to sneak in some smart words! She was his sunshine? Okay…) Their little happiness moment was short lived also since Hui Qi wanted to leave, claiming she was not that hungry. Awww…why not, Yu Yi? Be brave! Or do you need a little push? If only he knew why the others were so happy. It was not because of Shi Lang and Tao Hua’s happiness but it was because they were celebrating about their new sister, Chen Du Juan. (Nice effects with the bubble thing though. That illustrated a lot of how Yu Yi was feeling and it was like he did not belong in their world.)
So after the night full of happiness shared by the Chen clan and Shi Lang (with the exception of Yu Yi of course since he was suffering a heartache), things were back to normal again at the Chen resident. (OR NOT) Why were Cheng and Zhuan eyeing Xiao Mi so suspiciously? And why was Xiao Mi so into eating? What was going on here? And why was He scaring the world out of everyone with his weird rant? Even Qi was alarmed! Still funny!
Zhuan and his little old man philosophy again. No wonder He wanted to take a nap. But Zhuan was so cute with his nerdy glasses though.
Awww…Xiao Du Juan so cute! Their new hope! Xiao Mi’s so emotional! But she was right! Qi was having second thoughts about his brother’s choice of girlfriends? (LOL) Um…so they were bored. Of course, they could not meddle into Shi Lang and Tao Hua’s matter anymore. After all, both already received approval from Chen Ba Ba and Chen Ma Ma. They had Xiao Du Juan but that would be months away. What to do?
The answer came soon after since Qi spotted Yu Yi outside Hui Qi’s house with Little Raindrop. Yes! They found a new project! Nothing earth shattering but it would occupy some of their times while they waited for the arrival of Xiao Du Juan. That was so funny! Little Raindrop betrayed Yu Yi! Yu Yi got exposed! (And even knocked down Hui Qi’s fence.) Even Little Raindrop can take advantage of Yu Yi. But then that earned Yu Yi a smile from Hui Qi so it was not too much of an embarrassment. Um…bizarre imagination from Yu Yi. But he was desperate for attention so that was understandable.
Suddenly Yu Yi was getting popular. Even Xiao Mi was giving him her attention. Of course, Yu Yi had the right to be suspicious of their behaviors. Cheng and his experiences again. Great, Mr. Love Saint. Okay, so they wanted to help? Tough luck! So they were proving that they cared for Yu Yi too? If only they tried harder. Yu Yi saw through their scheme. Yup, too bored so needed something to occupy their time. Good luck convincing Yu Yi otherwise, Qi.
Qi’s status was still intact after all. He guessed right on the first try. But then it was obvious, right? Why else would Yu Yi be so sure? That sent everyone into silence all right. The effect was that strong. Aww…they were so proud of him for having the bravery to confess his love to Hui Qi. At least Xiao Mi was proud of him. The others were just shocked that he was able to do it.
That little speech from Yu Yi was so touching. Though it had been said many times (not in those exact words of course) by other characters in different dramas, JL sounded so sincere that it was so memorable and touching. The others were affected by it also. Not to mention how Qi was so determined to help Yu Yi in courting Hui Qi. It was not about a joke they wanted to play on Yu Yi anymore but actually caring for his well being and his happiness. Yay! Guess that was a start for another Chen clan mission. Their united hands!
On the other hand, Shi Lang and Tao Hua were going shopping for baby clothes. That was funny that they got misunderstood by the salesperson. Yet Shi Lang was not denying anything? Aww…But then he clarified the matter with her later! So funny how he was struggling to explain though. (They were wearing matching outfits! How cute!) Shi Lang was so clueless! That was even cuter.
And now we were back to the maniac brothers with their new schemes. Sun, surf, and sand. A very promising day for the beach, right? Er…wrong. They were up to something again. NOT enjoying the beach like they seemed to let on. That was mean, He, did you had to hit Yu Yi’s head for emphasis? So he was a tad slow but you didn’t have to do that. And then after Zhuan’s statistical lesson and He’s encouragement, everyone could proceed with the next part of their plan. Or not…since the twins were hauled away by a bunch of girls already. So much for it. Must admit that the twins’ tactics were effective though. Since Zhuan was pretending to be the not so strong one (so all the girls could gather around to care for him when he’d fallen) while He was aiming for the cool dude attitude with his cool moves. (Still, poor Yu Yi since the twins tried to divert the girls’ attention on Yu Yi but they did not care for it.)
So Cheng wanted to go slowly before upgrading to those beauties. That might be a better tactic since Yu Yi needed to build his confidence slowly. Aww…no phone number, don’t come back? Did Cheng had to drive the ultimatum? And that was a bit mean that they were laughing at Yu Yi from afar. (Still, need to train him for the first steps.) Yu Yi caught on though since he was not a fool. He only pretended that he did not know. Hope the guys got a backup plan since Yu Yi’s attempt failed major time.
Oops…if only Yu Yi was not as active in convincing the girl. That outta hurt. He got slapped. It was only a misunderstanding.
They were willing to beg Yu Yi to come out? That was a first all right. But it was their fault in a way since they sent him out to court some girls. And then if they weren’t at the beach, that incident didn’t happen. Let’s see how effective they are with mending the situation. Um…Cheng had a point since Hui Qi seemed to care about Yu Yi more now or she would not care to slap him? Great…not very convincing but possible. Why were they treating him like a little kid again? What was that ‘be good’ phrase?
Awww…Rui Sha was back as the lady of his dream! So funny though it was supposed to be a sad moment. Yu Yi was so into his dreamland that he did not care to listen to Tao Hua’s words. That was so funny how the words corresponded to what both girls were saying though. (Both from his main lead and Tao Hua’s that was.) But then it merged into one voice since Yu Yi was like asking his main lead about Shi Lang, lol. That was priceless.
I guess Tao Hua was like their mother in a way that she was more effective than all the guys combined, considering how she went through the same thing so her encouragements were more worth it than the others’ empty talks. She was able to persuade him since her help was better than their useless schemes, right? Still, Yu Yi needed help major time all right. Can’t blame him since he kept getting abandoned hence he was so clueless on matters. Not to mention that was causing a major gap with his confidence.
That was WAY OVER, Cheng. Drawing beard/mustache on Yu Yi. And they still dared to laugh. Like he wasn’t fed up with them already. Extreme Makeover time for Yu Yi. When were they done messing around though since they did not look like they were serious on those attires, right? To top it off, Chen Ma Ma had to put in that comment too. But Yu Yi was cute in that outfit though!
Finally showtime. They were actually serious about the outfit? But Hui Qi did smile upon seeing it. That was a start all right. IF only he caught on faster to Cheng’s words. Funny how the other Chen clan were in the car on standby. Zhuan and his binoculars! He had a point. Yu Yi was usually talkative about various subjects, why was he all tongue-tied now? But then he recited the wrong line! Cheng was actually answering the phone call and not prompting Yu Yi. Didn’t Yu Yi realize how weird it would’ve sounded? Hui Qi caught on! It was too obvious not to. But she agreed! That was a start! How funny that he wanted to come and pick her up. They lived across the street, don’t they? Honestly. Chen Ba Ba and Chen Ma Ma were as cute, observing in the house with Qi. They were one family all right. (Even if they were a bit strange.)
Aww…how cute! They were trying to dodge Yu Yi! Don’t let Hui Qi see them? Er…I think that already happened.
The big day…errr…night finally arrived. Yu Yi looked so handsome. (The makeover worked after all. The others weren’t joking about helping him.) But then we have to wait for the next episode before knowing the outcome of the date.
Sadly to say, ratings have dropped again for this episode to .67. A bit longer than the usual 1 hour and 24 minutes since it was like 1 hour and 34 minutes for this episode. Still good though since there was more to see.
