Rookies’ Diary: Episode 27

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. If you DO NOT want to be spoiled, please DO NOT read. You have been warned.

Kind of cheating on repeating some scenes. But I guess it was trying to build up to the climax once again.

So while the others were searching desperately for him, he was going through flashbacks and thinking how he couldn’t go on anymore.

And the incidental scene we saw in the previews. For a person who wants to die, he sure is strong. YES, he was persistent with wanting to die but honestly. Lucky An Bang was persistent and quite strong as well to maintain his grip that long. Since Bo Wen was wiggling like crazy before, wanting An Bang to let go. Um…instead of yelling for An Bang not to let go, why don’t the rest of the population go find some other alternatives? Not standing around and yell. Oy, hectic all right. Darn, Luo Gang and Hai Sheng came on time BUT not really since it was kind of too late. The drop! I swear, I thought they were just trying to make it hectic and then somehow the other two or someone would eventually come and help everyone up. Yet the fall occurred. And before things revealed, I had a feeling An Bang was the one who had his head bang. Darn! And I guess his sacrifice wasn’t all vain since Bo Wen finally realized how many people were worried for him. Oh yeah, now even Jing Wen know that An Bang and Luo Gang are related. (And the information was passed onto Bi Ying. This secret was starting to get out of hand…though it wasn’t exactly a secret.)

PHEW, he’s all right. Of course he can’t die ’cause he’s the main guy. BUT I thought they would intensify the whole situation and make it like the other soaps where everyone would cry ever so dramatically, etc. And was he right-handed or left-handed? I guess it doesn’t matter anymore since he has no choice but to use his left hand in this situation.

Bo Wen looked like he was serious about it–and won’t repeat such a foolish thing again. Hope so. He looked like he thought it through. Well, who could repeat it after knowing everyone was so worried? And not to mention how An Bang was almost gone trying to save him. It was strange hearing An Bang confessed that he has been through lost love in the past before. Just strange. ‘Cause we’ve been seeing him as the tough, serious pai zhang the whole time.

So Hao Zhi managed to get a hold of You Shun and convinced him that they were worried for his father’s well being, etc. I guess after Bo Wen’s attempted suicide, it didn’t matter anymore regarding the other event. Or was it just Hao Zhi’s nature to worry for You Shun? Either way, I knew it would get resolved. They were friends after all.

So Hao Zhi’s on a mission to beg Xiao Yan to make a trip to You Shun’s house to check on matters. Oy, she’s still mad. She has every reason to since she was lied to in the past. Hao Zhi was all heart, coming up with every reason possible to cover for You Shun. (And I guess it’s true to some extent or Hao Zhi has too much faith in You Shun. YET I got deceived again, thinking there might be something to look forward to with her and Wu Yong…oy…) Xiao Yan was considering things over…we’ll see.

Oy, more dramas. I said in the past already, won’t comment on the political parts anymore. So just hope it will pass soon ’cause I want it to focus on the soldiers more. But will say one thing: Poor Ding Hao.

What in the world are they doing? Ohhh…they were actually playing out the scene according to directions (sort of). But they were way too over to be convincing. They argued in front of Ding Hao? Brave all right. Ding Hao’s always so forgiving though. Oh…Shan Ren and Wang Wei get to play the scene instead? LOL! GREAT! But before we get to see Shan Ren and Wang Wei’s performance, others were carrying on side conversations. Lai Hu was trying to reassure Luo Gang about An Bang’s well being while Shi Jun was explaining to Hai Sheng about Ding Hao’s intention in letting others played out the scene.

And I thought Da Tong was WAY over. Look at Shan Ren. Exaggerating much? Anyway, they were bringing up possible problems the soldiers could be going through with Shan Ren’s words while Wang Wei was informing them about all the help they could get–without having to go through the problems alone or even think of ending their lives. Despite the bizarre way of presenting the problems and resolving them, Shan Ren and Wang Wei were so funny at the end, especially with how Shan Ren was saying he didn’t want to commit suicide anymore and Wang Wei hugged him and patted his head, muttering, “Good, good.” (Sort of like soothing a child! LOL!)

So news traveled back that both parties were all right. (Actually, Sheng Nan reported it to Ding Hao and Ding Hao told the others.) That was funny that Wu Yong was making the comment about Mo Gui Pai Zhang and the others were chiming in. YET not funny that Xiao De Ji and his gang were saying those stuff. That was cruel. Lucky Ding Hao directed the conversation back to the relevant topic. After some more instructions, they were left to ponder matters for themselves. (Eh…they kept teasing us with the tune–like I said before. When in the world are they going to play the song? Don’t mind me, I’m just impatient.)

So one of the fastest ways to get noticed or get some attention was to commit suicide–and then failed. JUST KIDDING! I know it wasn’t funny but now everyone know him. Well, they were following the directions and wanted to show their care for Bo Wen so he would realize how many people worry for him to not repeat such. Hope some parties wouldn’t ruin it for them. Well, even if they would, he wouldn’t consider suicide anymore since after what An Bang went through for him. And I thought Xiao De Ji would sabotage them first but Tian Bin had to get all curious about it! Darn! Serves him right for getting hit by both Hai Sheng and Wu Yong. What in the world was he thinking? Though he didn’t mean it.

And it was just the two of them again, talking over matters. Bo Wen definitely scared the world out of Hai Sheng all right. (That song about friendship was playing in the background. It was also in the soundtrack. Suitable for such a situation.) Good thing that they got it all sort out now.

No wonder they wanted to see the show. Xiao De Ji had to carry out his sentence so the guys got a chance for revenge. And they missed? Tian Bin’s suggestion, great idea! LOL! Too bad it hit Shan Ren! They were so dead! That was messed up though! The other three pointed to Lai Hu? LOL! Poor him BUT it wasn’t all wrong. Can’t believe it. So much for good brothers. Yup, Shan Ren’s not dumb. Of course, he could figure out that it wasn’t just Lai Hu. The result?

Yup, they were punished for not admitting their wrongs. Too bad that Xiao De Ji get to laugh at them. Oy…the price they pay for taking on a little revenge. Be more careful next time? Maybe…

Moving on after a round of dramas. They were learning new things again, of course. Lai Hu was the first to get scolded this time. Must admit he’s a genius though. Thinking he could jump down with fewer risks, LOL! OMG! It got better since Lai Hu asked Shan Ren for help but he doesn’t want to. Then Shan Ren couldn’t get out because his hat couldn’t squeeze through. When he asked Lai Hu for help, Lai Hu gave the same reply! LOL! But then he had to help anyway. That was the difference between being a soldier and a superior. Okay, Shan Ren wasn’t so heartless since he tried to help Lai Hu BUT it was really hard. He was really stuck. Uh…what possessed Lai Hu to take the short cut in the first place? So it’s high but he should’ve done better estimates. Poor Shan Ren, almost died trying to help Lai Hu. Next in line? Da Tong! Oh yeah, Da Tong had the fear of heights! Xiao De Ji was just a chicken. Da Tong ran like mad! But he bumped into Sheng Nan instead. I guess that was worse. But she told him a way to conquer his fear. (Sort of…not too bad…) Seriously, now we see why Xiao De Ji loves picking on others. That way, they couldn’t see his weaknesses. Will Xiao De Ji seriously learn after that lecture? Have to wait and see. Unlikely since it’s just awhile. And Ah Hou’s just so funny. He was freaking Shan Ren out, LOL!

Perhaps a lot of things we’d been seeing were from Bo Wen’s point of view so it seemed like it was hopeless and how she was hiding stuff from him. Yet it wasn’t like she was heartless or anything. It was just Bo Wen’s interpretation. It was good to see how they finally came to terms and how Bo Wen realized there were still many things in this world that he hadn’t seen or done. And how there were many people caring for him. Like he said, his world didn’t only have her, but a lot of others too. A peaceful closure at last.

A celebration should be called for since Bo Wen’s a new person now. At least he finally saw through everything. And Hai Sheng’s once again reassured. Nothing like Hai Sheng’s encouragement, right?

Da Tong wanted to use the whole suicidal incident to their advantage by saying that Hai Sheng was the one who jumped? BUT luckily Hai Sheng turned Da Tong’s idea down. He did not want to use Bo Wen’s situation as a joke. Great for him. Giving him even more points. He could prank someone, but not go to the extreme of using his friend’s situation to benefit himself. He abandoned Da Tong? He had to find out that Da Tong already lied about the person who jumped. Eek! Da Tong deserves that hit. So what if Bo Wen’s okay now? Didn’t have to play that joke on Yu Ting. It’s not funny.

Okay, one of the scenes in the preview. So that was the reason why Hai Sheng trusted her so much to drink it. He thought it was Da Tong making Yu Ting worry hence not wanting her effort to go to waste. Yu Ting, of course, knew Da Tong was lying so she had prepared a little of her own specialty for Hai Sheng. Just to teach him a lesson. Too bad he drank it for real…eek! She did look so pitiful and honest. So of course he fell for it. Aww…that was a nice and slick confession! No one could pull that one off except for Hai Sheng. (And the song played in the background helped. They were so into promoting the soundtrack! LOL!)

And that was it for this episode after the talk between An Bang and Bi Ying.

Guess what? They changed the ending theme for the show, which turned into the first song of the soundtrack! Yay! Cool! Or is it only for this episode to present the MV? I guess we’ll find out in the next episode. Never mind, the ending song is still ‘I Believe’ since the previous was just presenting the MV. They just didn’t show the previews. But we could see some upcoming scenes when they play the ending theme anyway.

BTS. Always love those. And this time, we’re rewarded with seeing how they set up and shoot the attempted suicide scene. Eek! A lot of precautions but still nerve-racking. No stunt doubles? Beat that! And poor Ah Pang, had to endure the pain with the water balloon part. Eek! How many take was that?

Rookies’ Diary: Episode 26

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. If you DO NOT want to be spoiled, please DO NOT read. You have been warned.

So they were trying their hardest to master the latest routines that they learned. More high blood pressure time for their trainers. Oy…poor those superiors.

So the story unfolded. Shan Ren was telling them about how there was going to be some filming around there. They got all excited but Hai Sheng turned his smile off upon hearing about Tian Xin. Of course, he would since his buddy has been depressed about it for a while now. Yup, he pulled Bo Wen aside to ask about his well being and if he could handle if Tian Xin was coming. Nice response, but we all know he’s just trying to reassure Hai Sheng–and Hai Sheng knew it as well. Oy, hope it’s only this one episode. YET they were playing that tune in the background. Anyone caught it? It’s the song that Zhao Jun Ya sang for this drama. It’s in the OST. Don’t know when they’re going to play the actual song and not just the tune. Maybe waiting to use it for Zhao Jun Ya?

Back to trials. Lai Hu’s so careless. No surprise. Eek, poor Shi Jun. And I knew Xiao De Ji wasn’t going to change anytime soon. He was just looking pitiful so the others wouldn’t kick him out YET. Da Tong dared to use Hai Sheng’s phrases to get back at him? Oy! They were going to be defeated because of him? NOT that it was that big of a deal since it was a matter of performance and practice. But seeing Xiao De Ji’s arrogant face just makes it ten times worse.

Shi Jun’s condition. Hopefully, it’s nothing serious. He’s so hard-working.

Now I know why Shi Jun’s freaked out. His old man sure is tough. YES, some of the things he said made sense and I do understand why he believes things should be more strict. But there are other things to consider as well.

Oohh…the confrontation…and tension building. Oy, the typical drama. The father always worries about the son yet usually scold when he sees the son and not utter some words of caring. Afraid that the son might be too spoiled or rely on the father too much to grow up? Yes, I was right. He was just worried for Shi Jun but it sucks also that he doesn’t have confidence in Shi Jun to pass.

So the monkey show is on. I meant the filming is finally commenced. No Bo Wen. Might be better since it would be even more awkward. Kind of weird though. I meant shooting a drama inside a drama. LOL! What? Those people were asking for signatures? Oh well, they’re guys so whatever. No one could stop them. Not even Shan Ren since he wasn’t around anymore. Well, at least Hai Sheng and Wu Yong weren’t going up to her for signature, right? (To sum it up, their group didn’t go up there or Hai Sheng would kill them.) Well, Xiao De Ji got it good. They sure got a kick out of that. But Shan Ren was lurking around and waiting for the moment to yell at them again. (That was sort of creepy since I thought he was gone.) Man, Chen De Lie sure has eyes that could melt people. ‘Cause the way he was portraying those scenes with Bo Wen looking so sad was just too pitiful. Makes one sympathize for his character. Even the director acknowledges those eyes. (LOL) Hai Sheng’s so funny! (And gotta love him for being so supportive and wanting to help Bo Wen get out of the sticky–AND super awkward–situation.) The director thinks he’s kind of unusual? (Try crazy.) What? Bo Wen accepts? OKAY!

Oh yeah, Luo Gang wasn’t in the group either. It’s hard to believe that An Bang’s a maniac (sort of) with the others yet he’s so patient and gentle toward his brother. And seeing how Luo Gang has the upper-hand at times. (Sort of.)

Nightfall and there were several things going on, some more worrisome than others. You Shun got permission to leave and tend to his father – who has been hospitalized. Then there’s Hai Sheng and Bo Wen’s conversation and how Bo Wen’s trying to reassure Hai Sheng that he would be fine with the shooting the next day.

Hai Sheng and Shi Jun’s late-night talk. Shi Jun sure got Hai Sheng this time. Well, it was an accident. Poor Hai Sheng’s leg. But it wasn’t anything serious–this time. (And Hai Sheng thought it was Shan Ren at first. It would be funnier if he thought it was some ghost, LOL!) A change to see these two talk–aside from the usual only confiding to people within their own groups (the ones they came with, not the recently formed group).

Yay, they were moving on to new things. Two guesses who would add more headaches for the superiors. Poor Bo Wen! I hope Lai Hu doesn’t end up wiping out the rest of his comrades before he succeeds in learning the techniques. Made sense to give Shi Jun a break. Poor Shi Jun, being so hard on himself. (Hey, they were using another song from the soundtrack. Cool!) Da Tong was actually awesome? That was funny! I thought he dropped something or made a mistake. But they were putting him on, LOL! Eh…Tian Bin’s actually not tian bin anymore? (JUST KIDDING…) Well, guess everyone has their weakness. Shan Ren wouldn’t mind giving him a break on that one. (Kind of.) Oh, it wasn’t so hopeless if they couldn’t succeed with the first method since there was another one – with the help of their comrades. Lai Hu’s happy again. And there was also a third method. YAY! Looking hopeful. (Another song from the soundtrack in the background.) Yay! Teamwork and everyone were clapping Lai Hu on…or more like relief before they were all wiped out because of his recklessness? And they were teasing us again with that song by Zhao Jun Ya, only playing the tune. Maybe not time yet? But definitely using the songs at the right time–and great timing for promotion too, LOL!

Wu Yong was sure showing his loyalty toward Bo Wen, still ranting away about the other dude. Yup, day two of filming and even Luo Gang joined in. Well, thanks a lot, Hai Sheng. He said they didn’t have to call Wang Wei out to PK the other dude, but even Shan Ren could beat him (in looks and talents)? LOL! I wonder if that’s a compliment toward Shan Ren or an insult. Geez whiz. Okay, why was Bo Wen going upstairs when the shooting was like right there? And they were setting up their equipment and stuff so it looked more like they were filming since the previous day with one guy carrying the camera was a bit fake. Was Bo Wen going to commit suicide for real? He seriously is looking like it since the part where he was looking at their room and was thinking. And then there was the whole lurking in the distance and spying on Tian Xin and the other dude. AND going upstairs sure looks super suspicious.

YUP! He’s up there. The suspense is killing me! Gah!

And they’re sending a search party out for him, which also marked the end of the episode.

Previews…oh shoot, they shot the water balloon at Shan Ren? Accident but still. They dodged but wonder if Shan Ren saw them. Two guesses. Eh…more troubles for An Bang… Yu Ting’s payback time? Hai Sheng actually drank it. Well, almost. Yup, Bo Wen jumped but lucky An Bang went with his instinct and got there on time. Or it seems like it since he managed to catch Bo Wen’s hand. Hope the others come on time to help. Or An Bang could pull him up.

Rookies’ Diary: Episode 25

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. If you DO NOT want to be spoiled, please DO NOT read. You have been warned.

They were finally learning the techniques to pass the wires. Eek! Looks dangerous and tricky. Look at those sharp things.

And Shan Ren get to show off for everyone! NOT really, demonstrate, lol. We already seen Sheng Nan and Luo Gang going through the trials because Sheng Nan was trying to make a point. Now we get to see how the others would deal with it, LOL! Wu Yong got yelled at! LOL! He thought he could receive special privileges? LOL! And Xiao De Ji’s method: STUPID. Yes, he could see while he slides but so what? It’s not going to be useful if we think about it realistically with encountering those wires somewhere else, not safely behind their base. Hahahaha…Shan Ren creamed him! Da Tong’s turn, LOL! His neck’s crooked so he can’t do it? OKAY! Lai Hu’s turn though. OMG! That was uncalled for! But could happen. Hai Sheng and Luo Gang were competing again. Funny! LOL! An Bang’s a proud brother! On the other hand, why was Shan Ren studying An Bang so intently? And Sheng Nan was experiencing flashbacks. Tian Bin and Bo Han were having tea? LOL! Shan Ren was back to attacking Mo Gui Pai Zhang? LOL!

Hai Sheng and Da Tong did not know what they were getting themselves into. They thought they were still pulling the schemes on Yu Ting but they had no idea she already found out. OMG! Yu Ting seriously match Hai Sheng wit per wit. They were in for good this time. Da Tong’s pushing it! He’s going to be sooo dead! LOL! Ohhhh…Da Tong was speaking Cantonese at one point. Got too excited! And Hai Sheng’s so arrogant! He’ll know if he’s awesome tomorrow!

Ooohh…yup! Time to kill You Shun. Not really but he’s history since Da Tong’s on his case now. Dared to use his sister for profit. Well, nothing happened but still… Calling Da Tong ‘Ge’ helps? LOL! NOPE!

And they were at war! LOL! Jia you!

And the beauties were there to support them! LOL!

They managed to take revenge by attacking Xiao De Ji with the ball instead of caring if they win or lose. LOL! Well, it matters if they win since they would get free drinks. Yet revenge is so sweet. Xiao Yan even cheered for Wu Yong! Yay! Cute! Wonder if that would become his inspiration! Too bad…OY! They lost! Sucks! Now the other side could laugh at them. The only reason why they lost so badly was Luo Gang’s change in attitude. Couldn’t blame him…

You Shun trying to patch things up? Too late! She agreed…but…we’ll see.

Lai Hu sure said it. Though they had no idea and didn’t know better, but Lai Hu still has the right to defend his buddy.

What’s the effective way to apologize to Luo Gang? Tian Bin’s dancing and singing! NOPE, Da Tong shushed him. Next? Umm…Da Tong’s ineffective communication techniques, LOL! Hai Sheng was more straight-forward and to the point. And then Da Tong finally got to the point. I guess they just needed someone to start first to break the awkward atmosphere. That was nice, Da Tong dragging Shi Jun out to take the blame. Geez…

And they dared to talk about her Hai Sheng? Someone needs to be taught a lesson. And the exchange between Hai Sheng and Yu Ting…awww…

They were still reading other people’s notes? GREAT! OMG! Hai Sheng was so arrogant. He thought it was Yu Ting’s note? LOL! He had no idea! And when Da Tong discovered the person’s name on the back, it got even more interesting! LOL! They get to laugh at Hai Sheng! What? Wu Xiang Lin? LOL! Hai Sheng’s so slick. His theory is so funny. Probably trying to save face? LOL! Yu Ting didn’t want people to know it’s her so she used some other person’s name? OKAY! But Wu Yong sabotaged him by saying that Wu Xiang Lin usually sneak looks at him SO…it must be true. Da Tong congratulate him? LOL! Da Tong had to go take care of matters regarding his sister so the others followed to interfere, leaving Hai Sheng behind. BUT Wu Yong doubled-back and told Hai Sheng Wu Xiang Lin was watching him from behind? LOL! Priceless! That was freaky all right – with him being stalked.

The inevitable confrontation. So funny with Da Tong’s sound effects! And Lai Hu had to try and stop him from jumping out. While You Shun was trying to make up excuses for himself. And before it got too out of hand, Da Tong had to jump out to interfere. Well, Lai Hu couldn’t stand it and jump out first. Anyway, Wu Yong and Lai Hu had to stand aside (more like sit aside) because it didn’t concern them. But okay, they were fine sitting there, being entertained. So the interrogation continued and You Shun was tongue-tied while Da Tong threatened to beat You Shun up–since You Shun sold his sister out. AND then he had to say, “Don’t try to stop me” BUT Lai Hu and Wu Yong were just sitting there playing with the leaves. GREAT! Before Da Tong could pull through, they were being stopped and had to go back…so much for a show…But Da Tong promised to help his sister seek revenge. YEAH RIGHT! She cursed the male population and ran off. Nice exit!

And it was Wu Yong’s turn to comfort her. And nice, Wu Yong. Just when things were going well (NOT REALLY), you had to blow it (even more). He was actually happy that they argued? LOL! She couldn’t believe it either though she was prepared that he’ll laugh at her. Well, the explanation made sense but then it got into a danger zone. Someone was honestly describing himself when he mentioned about there are so many guys there that she could like, LOL! And why was he calling You Shun a monkey? That was going to help? (Still funny…) And aww…he had to watch her leave. Can’t blame her since she was really mad at You Shun and was now taking it out on him. Not to mention it was like she said, she thought he was persuading her otherwise because her brother told him to. (They need to stop playing that song for every couple. I meant I like that song BUT I want it to be a different song for this two–like how Shan Ren and Sheng Nan has a different song and Wang Wei and Xiao Rou has a song as well.) Aww…that was so sad. The first time we get to see it from Wu Yong’s point of view. At least the serious Wu Yong.

Another confrontation. What Hao Zhi said was very powerful. Xiao Yan was Da Tong’s sister hence she was also their sister, they had to look out for her. (Thank you. For once I see the guys standing on the girls’ side in an argument. I meant okay, it was mostly for Da Tong’s sake but usually, they would try to patch things up and say how he has his reasons, etc, etc. But now they actually made You Shun suffer regardless of how he had a good reason to try and get some cash flow.) YES, You Shun needed money for his father to see the doctor, BUT he could’ve asked the guys to pool their money and then he would eventually return it later. Considering how they were good brothers, they would help him AND wouldn’t laugh at him or anything for his not so well off status. Maybe this will teach him?

OMG! More trouble! Shi Jun’s diary got exposed? They were able to laugh it off? At least that was not too extreme? YET! Yup, getting intense. Two guesses it was Xiao De Ji and his gang’s doing. AND poor Shi Jun! Lucky the others weren’t taking it out on Shi Jun with his criticism. They really learned to laugh it off. Though they were turning on themselves, it wasn’t too extreme–YET.

And as they say, never force someone to the wall. That person will fight back! So he was fighting a losing battle. But it was a matter of principle. Hai Sheng to the rescue! Lucky for Shi Jun! YET those guys were playing dirty and they were outnumbered. Lucky Luo Gang arrived in time to save the day. He’s more capable than that, having been in numerous fights in the past. Bring it on! Wang Wei just had to come by at that time. Eek!

They looked so innocent doing push-ups. Yeah right! They had a mutual agreement to not rat one another out? ‘Cause Hai Sheng was reminding Xiao De Ji not to spill the beans–or else. Like Wang Wei would believe them. Doing push-ups this time of the night? When they could be relaxing before bedtime? Okay, at least they only had to clean up. AND then Xiao De Ji got it with exposing Shi Jun’s diary. BUT he had to say that he wants everyone to read and learn from Shi Jun’s composition skills? GREAT! YEAH RIGHT! Man, now I know why I love Wang Wei so much! He smiles one minute and turns fierce again! LOL! Serves them right! Couldn’t sleep tonight! SORRY! Luo Gang and Hai Sheng admiring one another’s abilities? LOL! NICE!

So what’s the verdict? One more chance. But I want to know what the punishment would be…(DARN, I’m evil, right?) But then it was him who brought it onto himself. They’d given him too many chances to repent. I know Sheng Nan and An Bang got a point. BUT…still…

Finally, a chance for them to reconcile. Funny how  Sheng Nan was giving him a hard time. Nice scene still…like the song in the background. (See what I mean with every couple has their song?) Lai Hu’s talking in his sleep, so funny. And Shan Ren misunderstood Sheng Nan! LOL! But of course, he found out later that it wasn’t his that Sheng Nan was drinking. But he still misunderstood when he overheard Bi Ying’s words. OY! Aww…that sucks! Bi Ying shot him down with the info. She was just teasing but that was just too sad. So funny how he was mumbling when Bi Ying was gone. And that was the end of the episode after that genuine speech.

Previews…Shi Jun’s father appearance. More tension but we get more info regarding their father and son conflict. Hai Sheng and Shi Jun’s talk. A change. What? Tian Xin coming to their place? What in the world is she doing there? Ooohhh…shooting some scenes there. Hai Sheng to the rescue when they wanted to cast Bo Wen as the main guy. What? Bo Wen’s going to commit suicide? AGAIN?

BTS…Tang Feng and Fu Zi Chun were still fighting over who was best? LOL! OMG! The ball hit Xia Zheng Feng instead, LOL! Painful. It was too easy getting hurt there. Honestly, they were just too strong. Tang Feng wants to PK everyone? LOL! Fu Zi Chun’s just too funny. Where in the world was he planning to toss that ball to? Wang Wei’s NG, LOL!

Rookies’ Diary: Episode 24

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. If you DO NOT want to be spoiled, please DO NOT read. You have been warned.

Of course more training and practice, which also mean more aggravating the trainers. And like always, there are a few exceptions. But it doesn’t matter. Since the ones who messed up accounted for all the high blood pressure problems already, LOL! And I thought Lai Hu would make it through this time with his initial performance working like it should, but he has to goof up again. I guess it wouldn’t be the same if he’s able to carry through without getting yelled at.

Oy, if there were two Sheng Nan, huh? But then if that was so, she wouldn’t be special anymore. And the guys wouldn’t be fighting for her attention. (It’s not like they were but still…)

That was so messed up! They were reading the letters from those people. But I guess that was how they discovered the note like the previews show. Yup, they ended up reading various messages around the tree hence discovering the note about Luo Gang.

Regrouping. Yup, they need a good plan all right. And the first step was to figure out who wrote the note. The less people know the better, right? Hai Sheng is really suitable to be their leader. And he was right that Shan Ren wouldn’t be as petty about helping Luo Gang. Yes, he was pissed off that Luo Gang was hurting Sheng Nan, but he still offered to hep her afterward. (He did say those words about letting Luo Gang be but I feel like it’s better that he say it than be all fake about it, pretending nothing’s happening.)

They were seriously getting better with this. (Of course since first time always create hilarious scenes.) That meant Shan Ren won’t be scolded by Sheng Nan anymore? (LOL) What? Eek, Shan Ren stomped on Luo Gang’s hand. Well, he didn’t know ’cause Luo Gang was so into the scenery so Shan Ren didn’t know. But ouch! AND grrr…Xiao De Ji was so despicable. He used those low tactics to try and find them? (Or would he be rewarded since he managed to use any types of tactics to seek out the enemy?) Tian Bin almost made it! Too bad he was a bit nosy about listening to Shi Jun talking to the others. So Hai Sheng, Wu Yong, and Da Tong didn’t get caught? YAY! Three for our team! OMG! Da Tong was so clever. He got rid of the costumes and went to sit at a different group. No wonder the others had no idea! LOL! Shan Ren had to go get him! Aww…poor Shan Ren. Got yelled at to the point where he couldn’t say anymore. What in the world was Da Tong thinking? Did he have to go that far to deceive others? I knew it! He would get it big with Shan Ren when they were back within their territory again. That was funny. They were looking for Wu Yong but did they have to exaggerate so far? Storm and rain? LOL! So funny that Wu Yong’s not falling for their tricks. He thought they were still under the test. Ewww…that was so gross. Poor Wu Yong! (And what? That was weird. He said it’s sweet? Eek!) Hai Sheng was hiding on some tree? LOL! Clever! No one cared to look there. So funny. Hai Sheng making fun of Shan Ren? This was something familiar. Kind of fun watching these two. And he saw Shan Ren getting scold? LOL! Poor Shan Ren!

More confrontation. Not really but at least Luo Gang knows that they’re not giving up on him, especially Sheng Nan. Aww…that was sweet that he poured the water for her. (Okay, nothing extraordinary about the gesture but it was the thought that count.) And I’m torn between rooting for who again. BUT guess it doesn’t have to be. Can like both of the guys without wanting them to be with her.

Aww…see what I mean with this is hard to pick? Though I know that it would be appropriate that Luo Gang and Sheng Nan end up together. What?! He must be day-dreaming, right? I’m confused now… Darn! There’s that song in the back, teasing us again! YUP! He was day-dreaming! LOL! I knew it! Sheng Nan sounded too gentle. LOL! It was Jian Xing all along! Eek! He had to run again! LOL! Cheng Gong Ling is such a romantic place? LOL! Shan Ren already sneaked away! (Or more like he was walking away while Jian Xing was talking on and on.) Okay, so he was unsuccessful since Jian Xing turned around and called him again. OY! How to get out of this one? So funny! It was tricky but he managed to get away!

Exam time! Man, what a way to cheat! And I thought Hai Sheng wouldn’t pull such thing but he was willing to be in on it too? LOL! Well, if Tian Bin wasn’t so noisy or acting so suspicious, they would’ve gotten away with it. So much for it! Should’ve more attention. That was a great move, he sneaked it to Wu Yong on the way to the front? I almost forget that Tian Bin was the sneakiest among them all.

That was funny. Wang Wei was being nosy and Sheng Nan told him off. (Sort of!) But it was funny how she almost confide in him. LOL!

What in the world? He grabbed everyone’s papers? Well, at least the ones he could reach to snatch. That was messed up but funny at the same time! What? Bo Wen was willing to let Hai Sheng copy but Hai Sheng doesn’t want it? Hinting something? Or he only wanted to cheat off of others in case they get in trouble but doesn’t want Bo Wen to get into trouble? OKAY! Da Tong and Lai Hu were doing the same but they actually asked the others for permission before looking versus Hai Sheng’s maniac snatching method! LOL! OOOOHHHH…No wonder! They were trying to see who was the one who wrote the note! NOT cheating! That was a risky technique since they could get in trouble for cheating. No wonder Hai Sheng doesn’t want to look at Bo Wen’s… AND they were caught! Xiao De Ji wanted to bring Da Tong down BUT Da Tong dragged him along. Sweet! Everyone’s using Shan Ren’s “Didn’t eat yet or something” phrase now. LOL! (Love it that Wang Wei’s back to scold them!)

Ooohhh…finally some leads. Well, after looking at the note and going through so many of the booklets, of course, she would memorize the style and recognize it without needing the note to compare. But she’s always so careful, wanting to make sure. YES! This was moving forward.

AND yes, another break! You Shun had to use the money sometime, right? SO there comes another lead. Sweet! So funny that Xiao De Ji thought he could just put the blame on You Shun YET he accidentally spilled out of the amount without knowing. NICE!

Always love watching them getting along. And An Bang was also teasing Luo Gang about Sheng Nan? LOL!

And Xiao De Ji sure doesn’t learn. OF COURSE. If he was any good, he wouldn’t pick on Shi Jun or others. OR even resort to stealing like that.

Previews…more exciting scenes! And yes, I knew it! Wu Yong likes Xiao Yan! This could be it! Too funny but Ai Cheng kept messing up with his lines! LOL!

Rookies’ Diary: Episode 23

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. If you DO NOT want to be spoiled, please DO NOT read. You have been warned.

Another day and more trainings and routines. Eh…they get to play today? I meant no pressures with other training? YEAH RIGHT! There’s always a purpose why the game would be introduced to them.

Though they looked like they were having fun but there was an apparent sign with singling out Luo Gang and not allowing him to get to the ball or pass it onto them. Da Tong just practically snatched it out of Luo Gang’s grasp. And there was also the whole thing with him snatching at the ball when Shi Jun was calling out for Luo Gang. Well, Shan Ren interfered but like that would stop Da Tong. They don’t have proof, but I have to agree with Hai Sheng. It was hard to carry on when everyone was suspicious of one another. And in this case, it was Luo Gang. I guess it was like what I mentioned in the previous episode, it was about a test of trust. Shi Jun was definitely molding things over in his mind. What to do now? He was going to tell but too bad those bullies got to him. Gotta give him kudos for being firm on the matter. They coaxed him by saying they would return it. BUT yeah right. Still…not his fault. Those guys were too cunning.

And the confrontation seen in the previews. Well, part of it because there would be a part 2 later. I guess this is the difference between being family and friends–or differences between guys and girls. I don’t know. But the difference between how An Bang acted toward the situation versus Sheng Nan. Luo Gang expected that from his brother because his brother was strict and possibly because it was the insecurity of being trusted by a sibling versus no pressure with friends? If you believe someone, don’t question versus I want to be sure that you didn’t do it. I’m not saying either party is wrong since it was just a different approach in the whole matter. I just found it interesting how both parties dealt with the suspicion. Something to think about really.

Sometimes it pays to be sneaky. Lai Hu was caught red-handed. But of course, there’s a twist. It would be too unbelievable that Lai Hu stole it. We already saw who the culprit was. It was just a misunderstanding since it was Lai Hu’s money. LOL! Payback time for Lai Hu since Da Tong hit his head earlier.

Time to give the ultimatum. Well, didn’t they already? They need to be more effective. No one wanted to confess. What? Luo Gang confessed? He was sure suicidal. I meant was he so fed up with the others suspecting him that he didn’t care if he didn’t do it? Both Shi Jun and Lai Hu couldn’t believe he confessed (’cause they trusted him–and that one know he didn’t do it). Sheng Nan interfered…ooohhh…

So much intensity. I know it’s not right to take it out on Sheng Nan but Luo Gang has a point. If his past doesn’t matter, why does everyone have to point at him and single him out like that? (That song playing in the background the whole time was really powerful also. Suitable for the powerful scene.) And I think that scene was nicely done with how it only showed Sheng Nan shedding a tear or so while Luo Gang was there. Then she broke down afterward when he was gone. It would suit her since she would try to hold it and try to be strong in front of others. (Not too over-killed at all. In fact, more realistic.)

Aww…he cheered her up. My existence is to ensure your happiness? Aww…almost touched. Yet the way he said it wasn’t arrogant at all. And that was so sad. After she left, he was just standing looking at her back. He wanted to cry yet still make himself smile. Probably have to reassure himself that he made her smile?

Ooohhh…this is key! Wu Yong sure is observant. Of course, it’s his money. But this could be a break in their investigation. Secret operation! Yay! Hopefully, it would help reveal things faster. Or at least for them.

Sisterly talk? Must agree with Bi Ying. Sheng Nan’s luckier than her.

More hilarious scenes. Honestly, Lai Hu brought it upon him. AGAIN. He always forgot. Shan Ren’s hilarious! (Did he do it on purpose to cheer Sheng Nan up? Love can’t be forced but he’s just too cute trying to lighten the atmosphere! Even at Lai Hu’s expense.) What in the world? Poor Chen Bo Han! (Ah Hou? Monkey? OKAY!) Da Tong just had to be so careless. And kept making mistakes. OY! What in the world? It was getting crazier by the minute. They were supposed to practice yet it turned into a disaster? Not surprised but still. When I thought that was the end, nothing new, there was always something new. AND that was messed up! Hate Xiao De Ji! But it made sense he wanted to divert attention away from himself. I never enjoyed Shan Ren’s yelling so much. It was stupid to mention it, especially when they were practicing.

You Shun better not or I’m so writing him off. It doesn’t matter if he needed the money so badly. Doing that would sever their ties. Well, he could somehow get out of it. BUT would this be the turnaround and Xiao Yan would eventually be with Wu Yong? JUST KIDDING…but something to jump forward about.

More intensity. Darn! Shan Ren was so brave! He just wanted to shut the door and fight? The things that he dared to do for Sheng Nan though he did not understand fully. (And how much Luo Gang was hurting too.) But at least Shan Ren didn’t use his rank to bully Luo Gang like in the past. He didn’t fight back? Ooohhh, nice one. He said he wasn’t like Luo Gang but wanted to warn Luo Gang to not hurt Sheng Nan anymore? OKAY! OMG! Shan Ren seriously was brave. The weather caused him to have a bleeding nose? GREAT!

This is pathetic! He was trying to sing Aaron Kwok’s song. shivers There goes the song. All ruined now. And You Shun went ahead with the plan? Okay, so it was just luring Xiao Yan out. BUT still. That was almost like being stabbed. She trusted him. Serves Xiao De Ji right! Lucky she ran away in time. That was minor for now. But we’ll see what happens when she finds out. OR if she finds out. She’s not convinced that You Shun would do that so…

Didn’t want to talk about this again but getting more and more…annoying. I guess it’s supposed to be frustrated but maybe Shi Jun should have told on them when he was like several steps from the door to the superiors’ offices. Don’t know. Now they’re taking his diary. What next? And they were found out with fighting and/or arguing. And then? OMG! Wang Wei’s back! I miss him so much! (He wasn’t even in the previous episode?) On the other hand, this will teach people not to write diaries. Honestly, it’s more trouble than help. I meant Shi Jun was already being bullied but to be blackmailed too? (Though it would be ironic and defeats the purpose of the drama if there is no ‘diary’ in here,LOL!) Kind of far-fetched, but if Shi Jun’s being pushed too hard by the bullies, would he eventually commit some crime? (Like kill them?) I wouldn’t blame him. These guys were really pushing it. And with what Ding Hao was saying, perhaps this was a test for Shi Jun. The constant encounter with the bullies, testing him and seeing if he’s brave enough to face all these, not caring what others would think of him if the diary were to be exposed. Or breaking past the fear of being attacked or cornered by those bullies and approach the superiors to tell them what was going on, i.e. that Luo Gang didn’t steal the money.

Aww..they were so cute. Okay, cooled down again after all those intense moments. I miss watching them so much too. Definitely need a break from those scenes. Aww…he was asking her for a date? NOPE! He didn’t know the difference? LOL!

Previews…ooohhh…was it Shi Jun? He’s so smart then! I meant he was just at a great disadvantage so couldn’t tell anyone. This way, it would stir suspicion among them all. Spying on Wang Wei and Xiao Rou does help, eh? LOL! And yes, this is moving forward. Super obvious since the money has been circulated like Ding Hao and An Bang predicted. Then now You Shun’s using it. SO…a break for them all…YES! This is not dragging at all. One of the reasons why I’m still in.

BTS…everyone was sick? Aww…At least the main cast…NGs are always the greatest! LOL! Tang Feng couldn’t rip his own picture? That was funny. ‘Cause he rarely have NGs.

Rookies’ Diary: Episode 22

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. If you DO NOT want to be spoiled, please DO NOT read. You have been warned.

More review sessions. However, An Bang’s back this time! (I sort of miss him–and his yelling, LOL!)

Not surprise that they were still competing. Still funny that Hai Sheng was up on Cloud 9 since An Bang called him and not Luo Gang.

They were moving on to the techniques of hiding themselves. (And why did they dare to laugh when An Bang was there? Forgot how fierce he was?) Anyway, seemed challenging. Especially how they have the tendency to laugh like that.

Wow! An Bang’s offer. It was too great to pass up. Good luck, everyone! Oohhh…so Shan Ren was hiding nearby but too bad they were too busy looking elsewhere. Need to focus AND try harder. Lai Hu stomped on him without knowing? Well, he was curious BUT not curious enough. Eek! Poor Shan Ren. That wasn’t it since Wu Yong also stepped on his hand without realizing. Da Tong making the comparison? Hilarious! OMG! Hai Sheng was so smart! He used such tactic to lure Shan Ren out! LOL!

Aww…she actually smiled at him! Man, I don’t care. I’m so rooting for them! It doesn’t matter if we’re being teased by their constant hopeful scenes. I’ll just watch them for the fun of it! (And I actually agree with An Bang, if Hai Sheng didn’t use that tactic, no one would know where Shan Ren was. If it was someone they didn’t know, how would they take precautions toward such a situation?)

Eh…they were all transformed now. Most of them looked convincing enough. Success? Well, have to wait for Shan Ren’s final verdict. YUP, always Lai Hu the first one to be pointed out. Well, at least he wasn’t alone. LOL! Patient, Shan Ren, patient. Lai Hu = Hello Kitty? LOL! Poor Hello Kitty! Wu Yong! LOL! He’s nuts all right! (Cracking up so hard! These guys are killing me!) I can’t believe Luo Gang got it too! LOL! That was messed up! Probably because Lai Hu was helping him? Yup, it was Lai Hu’s doing! No wonder he was called upon like that. He didn’t even know he has flowers on his head. (Someone seriously wanted to die? Dared to joke around like that? Shan Ren was giving Luo Gang looks again upon mentioning Sheng Nan…)

Oh…they finally got a break for TV time. How nice, LOL! Seeing Da Tong’s state, there’s going to be a show coming up. YUP! Don’t tell me he sleeps with his eyes open! LOL! Oh…false alarm! LOL! And Lai Hu thought that he won’t get caught? OKAY! Tough luck. He seriously never learns. Oh..that pervert Xiao De Ji got caught too. (And I thought he was falling asleep. Shan Ren’s seriously sharp. Of course, right? Or he won’t be there.) OOohhh…so much for it! Bi Ying wants to tell Sheng Nan! Shan Ren seriously was risking it by looking at the magazine at such a time and place!

Tea time! Not really, but Hai Sheng was turning it into one with all his talks (and exaggeration). Aww…Bo Wen was still in morbid-land. And then Xiao De Ji and his gang showed up to ruin the atmosphere again. But so funny how Tian Bin was talking and everyone just walked away, not convinced. They sure know how to discourage him. (And even told him to clean up, LOL!)

That was funny how when they need Hai Sheng, they refer to him as ‘Da Ge’. Eh…hope this will pass soon. ‘Cause seriously, don’t like the idea of the intensity with those misunderstandings – though unavoidable. They just managed to get along. Now more trouble?

More lectures. Well, made sense since it has been a while and they needed to put the hammer down with how no one was confessing or coming forward with information. And perhaps this is the test of trust to see if they could last without accusing one another or seeing if someone has any moral to come forward. (It seems like that person doesn’t but who knows?) And oh yeah, is Shi Jun brave enough to come forward? Or is his fear for the others too strong? (I wouldn’t blame him though since the others were too threatening.)

And that’s Jacky on the bicycle, right? And yup, confirmed since he was seen making his way back when Ding Hao was stepping out to interfere in the matter. Wait…did his voice get dubbed? I meant he’s not dubbing his own voice? OY! Too confusing! It doesn’t sound like him. My ears are deceiving me!

Anyway, back to the money thing. The question was finally raised. More tension. And suddenly I forgive Lai Hu for all the silly things that he did since he still stayed loyal to Luo Gang–despite others’ attacks. (Not that I don’t like Lai Hu but found him too funny at times.)

And once again, An Bang stepped in to defend Luo Gang. Though of course, he had his basis – unlike someone who was just using Luo Gang for a scapegoat and relied on rumors.

Oh, another classic phrase and the song was on again. (Luo Gang: Why do you believe me? An Bang: Because you’re my brother.)

Back to training. And it was killing them! Shan Ren kept starting at one. Da Tong seriously is driving one’s patience up the wall. Geez whiz! And he still dared to ask Lai Hu regarding Wu Yong’s money? I mean at a time like that? No wonder Shan Ren was yelling again. Was it tea time? Guess not! (Sheng Nan: Are you waiting for me to yell at you? LOL!) Suddenly Lai Hu smarten up and ran before Shan Ren could order him to carry the weapons? LOL! That was sort of priceless!

And yup, Shan Ren was right. Hai Sheng was not that weak. Why the sudden injury and collapse? He and Da Tong were carrying out their scheme.

Darn…Bo Wen at it again. Well, can’t blame him. The other guy had to ask. Tian Bin had to shut him. Still…not their fault. They had no idea.

And Yu Ting got conned! Though that was a scheme Hai Sheng was pulling on Yu Ting, but would that give Bo Wen ideas?

And the curtain unveiled. I meant the show was on. Wonder how long they could go on before getting busted. If she finds out, they’re so dead! Look at them laughing away while she went to get water. Oh, shoot! Yu Ting ran into Jing Wen and started to ask questions. And they thought they could get away with it! LOL!

Aww…they were finally getting along. I guess the whole money incident wasn’t for nothing. It proved that Hong Jie was all heart. And that Xiao Yan wasn’t unreasonable with her scolding. She could be considerate as well. And I spoke too soon since Wu Yong managed to aggravate Xiao Yan again…eek! She sure was scary! Well, can’t blame her. Not too much. She thought he was making fun of her again. Aww…that was so cute! He popped his head in again to tease her and she returned the attack! (Eek! Like I said before, too hard to choose!)

Previews show more intensity. Eek! And Shan Ren and Sheng Nan…
