Legend of the Ancient Sword 2: Dylan’s Wrap Up

Dylan posted the other day that he already finished with his scenes for the drama. It was a bittersweet feeling for him since it was a challenging experience, but also sad because it ended.

What was fun to see was Ken posting a picture of him and Dylan, saying that they were celebrating Dylan’s wrapping up. What was interesting was that Ken disclosed they have been friends for 23 years already. Wow, I didn’t know that, lol. Pretty cool though.

Legend of the Ancient Sword 2: Press Con

The production team just held a press con recently so I got excited.

They managed to get the cast to interact and talk a bit more about their roles.

I guess the focus was on these four since Ken had to post his own set of photos, lol. (And no Dylan.)

Three Lives, Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms: Ken Chang

I was only sorta following this since I learned of Ken Chang’s involvement in the project.

He would be portraying a character called Zhe Yan (折颜). According to some information, he is an immortal phoenix, also holding the rank of Eastern King Water God.

This is, of course, an adaptation of Tang Qi Gong Zi (唐七公子)’s novel of the same title.

The TV series will start airing on January 30th.

Legend of the Ancient Sword 2: Main Cast

So I was waiting for this or more news of this. I meant I knew it was happening and saw the initial posters when they started to work on the project. But now that they released more stills, I decided to post.

And of course I don’t know anything about the game so I’m just sticking around for Ken Chang. But I will update on others, considering how I don’t have problems with the cast and all.

Supposedly, Ken’s playing a totally different role in here versus how some thought he would return as the white-haired god-like being in the previous part. However, it doesn’t matter. I’m looking forward to see him take on this new challenge.

Aside from Ken, my other most anticipated performance would be from Dylan. This was actually the reason he was stressing over with one of his New Year posts. Possibly a totally different role for him versus past shining or dashing roles.

I’ve always been impressed with his past improvements so I’m confident Dylan will do well.

Other main cast involved Ying Er, Shao Bing, Coco Jiang Wen, Fu Xin Bo, Aarif Rahman, etc.
