I can’t believe I have to say it because seriously, people are being deceitful on purpose just to monetize their blog views. Yes, the case of some celebrities dodging military through illegal means had surface recently and some very popular idols turned out to be quite disappointing in the eyes of the public. However, one of the blogs I encountered purposely misled readers by bringing up Ming Dao’s name, stating that he was one of the few that had delayed his military services and much more.
Did he, like some others, delay their military services at one point? Yes, he did. There were rumors years ago stating he enrolled in the university for too long because he was trying to delay his services and fearing that it might affect his career. It had happened before with some idols who went away for a while and found out the industry passed them by after they returned. However, that certain blogger purposely DID NOT clarify that Ming Dao finally completed his service and received the proper documentation as proofs. You can say whatever you want with not liking him for the delays or whatever. But don’t exclude information just because you don’t like him. On top of that, trying to get him in trouble by lumping him in with some people who had broken the laws. Seriously?
Ming Dao actually talked about it during the 183 Club reunion episode of Zhang Xiao Yan’s show. He also stated how proud he was when he finally did his service and felt the spirit of it all. If that wasn’t enough proof that he talked about it numerous times, there’s also the clip below that covered about it too. So, yes, this is a clarification post because I had enough of people trying to drag other people in to create more dramas.
